We reach Siva's house, I try to go to his but Moni akka stops me, "Inga ethuku vantha? Siva va innum evlo kaya paduthalam na?" I shake my head in denial. (Why are you here? To add some more hurt to Siva?)

"Moni appadi ellam pesatha ava machan ah paaka vanthu iruka," Puvi Anna backs me up. (Moni, please don't talk like that, she is here to meet him.)

"Nee ithula thala idatha, Puvi. Unakku un thangachi mukkiyam na enakku en thambi mukkiyam," she fights him before turning to me. "Anikku antha prank call challenge unna vilaiyattu ku hurt pannan nu nee avana ippadi hurt pani thaan thirupi kudupiya? Thayavu senju inga irunthu poidu." (You don't interfere in this matter, Puvi. As your sister is important to you, my brother is important to me. Did you hurt him back as he hurt you in the prank call challenge for fun?)

"Moni, pona vatti eppadi Raj vanthu avana veliya vara vachan oh intha vatti Ashwi aala mattum thaan Avana veliya vara vaika mudiyum. Ava pogatum vidu," Samarth explains why he has brought me here. (Moni, last time Raj came to bring him out but this time only Ashwi can do it. Please let her go.

"Athu ellaam onnum vendam. Ivala avan oru vaati yaar kitta yachem vittu koduthu irupan ah? Iva motha ma vituta. Nee inga irunthu..." (No need. Has he ever let her down in front of others? But she let him down completely. You just ...)

"Moni..." Shaku ma stops her and walks up to me. "Avan ezhuntha siripu, santhosham, nimmathi, music ithu ellam nee thiruppi kodutha nu thaane unna avanukku ponnu keeten. Ipo ippadi avana mothama odachitiye?" I cry out, unable to hold myself. (Since you gave him back his lost smile, happiness, peace and music, I wanted you to be his wife but now you completely broke him.)

"Ma, sorry, naan..." my words get caught in my throat but she gestures at me to stop.

"Unakku, ore oru chance tharen. Mudinja avana veliya kotitu va illa na mothama avan life ah vittu poidu," I looked at her in shock. (I'm giving you only one chance. If you can bring him out or leave his life entirely.)

I couldn't... we couldn't tolerate the three days of separation. How can I miss him for a lifetime? Everything that Moni akka and Shaku ma said were true. Siva has never let me down in front of others. When I got the allergy due to the saree dye, he was persistent to take me to the doctor and get treated. He was the only person who stood up for me and challenged others to prove me innocent when the entire office was against me, risking the investments.

I climbed the staircase to the first floor and even before I could reach his bedroom, the sound of the playstation hit me. I knocked, banged and called out to him but he didn't respond. Our roles were reversed from yesterday to today as we tried to talk with the person on the other side of the door in a sound filled room. I call him but his phone is switched off.

"Anna, avaru room oda windows or balcony thoranthu irukka?" I look at Samarth anna with a last hope. (Whether his windows or balcony doors are open?)

"Irukkum nu ninaikiren, va poi paakalam," He runs down the staircase and I follow him along with Puvi anna. Samarth anna takes us to the side of the house where Siva bedroom's balcony and windows are built. (I guess, come let's check.)

We find the balcony door left open and I ask for the availability of a ladder. Samarth anna orders the servants to bring it and they bring an extendable aluminium ladder. It reaches over the railing when leaned on it.
