"Siveyy, Hot chocolate pottu kondu varatta?" Ashwika touches my hand. (Siva, shall I get you an Hot Chocolate?)
"Illa ma oru two minutes la mudinjidum. Samarth ipo vanthuduvan," I rub my neck and stretch. (It's fine, Ma, just two more minutes, the work will get over and Samarth will be here any time.)
"Illa naan pottu kondu varen," she leaves my cabin and walks through the empty office towards the refreshment area. (No excuses, I'm getting it for you.)
I finish checking the quotation and presentation and save them in multiple places before turning off my laptop and packing it. I walk to the refreshment area through my relaxation room and lean on the door frame watching Ashwika. I want to go behind her and hug her, hold her, smell her, that can keep me satiated for the next two days but the CCTV camera is stopping me. The washrooms, private lift and my relaxation room are the places without CCTV cameras.
The day started with surprises but turned into hectic. After sending Ashwika with Puvi, I called Raghav to know the updates on the Devil. He has left the city and was last found at Elavur, near Andhra Pradesh border, before taking diversion from a checkpost. Raghav believes he is mostly taking inner routes rather than the bypasses and highways. Still he asked me to be alert and safe.
When I reached the power house through the private lift, I found the office quite empty. When I walked further to my cabin, I found everyone talking near the front reception. I walked up to them to check what's happening but seeing me, Bharatan sir started, "Enna pa, iva thaan," He pointed at Ashwika, " +1 pora school ponnu mari dress panitu vanthu iruka na, neeyum +2 tuition pora school paiyan mari vanthu iruka?" (What is this, she is dressed up like a high school junior and you are like a senior?)

"Avaru enakku senior-uh la athaan appadi dress pani irukaru," Ashwika continued to be her usual teasing self but I wonder, what does she mean. "Hello senior, enna nalla pathupengala?" She gave me a teasing yet challenging look. (Because, he is my senior, that's why. Hello senior, will you take care of me properly?)
