One day, the seven (minus Percabeth) thought it would be fun to go through Percy's cabin and ransack it,
"This boy seriously needs to do some laundry," Commented Piper as she pulled yet another dirty piece of clothing from under his bed. The rest of them snickered as they continued to search,
"What are you guys doing?" Said Thalia as she, Clarrise and Nico came through the door,
"I don't know? We're not ransacking Percy's cabin - that's for sure," Said Leo, his voice an octave higher than usually. Thalia raised an eyebrow and shrugged,
"I'm down," She said smiling as she, Clarrise and Nico walked into the room.
"Ohh! Sally's cookies!" Exclaimed Jason as he opened the first draw in Percy's side table. Everyone squealed and dove for the plate. Jason stuffed one in his mouth and looked at the next draw,
"Oh my gods!" He said. The others looked at him questioningly.
"This draw says Annabeth!" He told them. Immediately, the tension grew.
"Open it!" roared Clarrise, and Jason obeyed.
"Let's see, shirts, jeans, photos, an album..." muttered Leo as he rummaged through it, "Guys... look," He squealed as he pulled out a small black box. No one spoke.
"Open it, gods damn it!" Yelled Piper. Leo jumped and fumbled with the box. Inside was a simple silver ring with a green diamond in the centre. Engraved across the side were the words: something permanent.
"Guys what are you- no!" Yelled Percy. Everyone turned around and saw that he had just walked through the door.
"What are you doing?" He roared. No one spoke, "Let me guess? You guys are going through my things?"
"How did you guess?" Smirked Thalia, but one look from Percy shut her up.
"Are you actually going to propose?" Asked Hazel. Blush crept up Percy's cheeks and he nodded.
"Percy, are you okay?" came a muffled yell from outside of him cabin. Percy's eyes got wide,
"Crap! It's Annabeth! Hide it!" He hissed, "I'm okay... Why?" He called back,
"Because there's a huge tidal wave coming towards camp," She called back, a note of panic in her voice. Percy took a deep breath,
"Gone?" He asked,
"Gone," She confirmed, "Percy, are you sure your okay?" Percy looked at the others, clearly asking for help. Leo tossed him the box,
"Go get 'er tiger," He said, winking.
