I laughed way too hard at the picture above. I've gotta say, its true, and I am guilt of it!

"Thank you!" Said the customer as he left. Just another day. I began to wipe the counter down. It was just me today, seeing as the girl who was meant to be on shift with me was home sick - just like yesterday... just like the day before.
Suddenly, I heard the familiar bell go off signalling that someone had walked in. I looked up and I swear time slowed down.
She was gorgeous.
Her alluring face was framed in beautiful golden ringlets, and her skin was perfectly tanned. The thing that struck me most, however, were her startling grey eyes. They reminded me of a trapped storm - always raging to get out,
"What can I get for you?" I breathed. The girl smiled,
"Umm... a green tea, please," She told me. I nodded,
"Your name? Uh, for the order," I added. She laughed and it was angelic,
"Annabeth," She replied. I nodded, and quickly made her order. No one but her was in the coffee shop,
"Green tea for Annabeth," I called, looking around, and she laughed at my joke, and went to sit at a table. She pulled out a laptop and began to furiously type away.
By looking at her, I cold tell she was about my age - 16, maybe younger? I smiled. This, right here, was the reason I lived. Just for her.
About an hour passed before she got up to leave. I took a deep breath.
"Umm... Annabeth?" I said, my voice higher than usual. I cleared my throat and she turned around to face me, eyebrows raised., "I was wondering... I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime?"
I was looking at my feet as I asked her, afraid of the answer I was sure would come. There was a short silence,
"Sure. When?" She replied. I looked up at her smiling face. I expected to see her laughing at the prank she had puled, but her face was dead serious.
"Umm... are you free tomorrow?" I asked hopefully. Annabeth grimaced,
"Not tomorrow, no. What about Saturday?" She suggested. I smiled and nodded.
"See you then," Annabeth smiled back at me and then turned to leave. Just as she was at the door, she spun back around to face me.
"Actually, I didn't catch your name," She said.
"Harry. My name is Harry,"
"Hm," Annabeth mused, "I prefer Coffee Boy," And with that, she left.
Annabeth
"And your really okay with this?" Thalia asked me. I shrugged.
"It's been three years and Percy still hasn't made a move. I kind of have to be fine with it," I shrugged. As soon as I had left that coffee shop, I had headed straight back to camp.
I shouldn't have been out in the first place, but after Percy came back from a certain island, the camp just didn't seem big enough to pace and be angry, so I left.
Sure, we weren't together, but still!
"You know, it doesn't really sound like your fine with it," Thalia told me. I grimaced,
"I'm not," I admitted, "But I'm just gonna have to get used to it.
I don't know what made me say yes. I think he reminded me of Percy, with his unruly black hair and emerald green eyes.
Uhh! I'm really not over him yet.
~TimeSkipToSaturday~
That morning I was all ready. I was dressed in my one shirt that wasn't an orange CHB shirt and jeans. The shirt was actually a sea green blouse. The one that I had worn to Percy funeral...
I shook that thought from my head. I sheathed my dagger and stepped out side the Athena cabin.
Walking to the bottom of the hill, I earned a few looks, which I returned with death glares. Most campers got the message, some - namely Aphrodite kids- didn't and began to whisper things to each other. I just rolled my eyes at that.
When I reached the bottom of the hill, Chiron was there.
"And where do you think you are going?" He asked. he. I pursed my lips, but said nothing, figuring that silence was the best way to play it. Eventually, Chiron let out a sigh.
"You can go. Shouldn't leave Coffee boy waiting," I stared at him, aghast.
"How do you-"
"Hunters talk," He told me, a smile dancing on his lips. Before I could say anything else, he rode off, chuckling.
I scowled and began to trudge up the hill. I stopped however when I heard someone call me name. Before I even turned around, I knew who it was. I had memorised his voice perfectly. It was so beautiful that it could put Apollos lyre to same.
"Hey Percy," I said. He smiled at me, the crooked smile that always made my legs feel like jelly and my knees want to buckle.
"You wanna do some sword practice?" He asked me, clearly oblivious to the fact that I was about to leave camp.
"Sure," I replied, without hesitation,
"Cool, see you in the arena," He said, and began running in the opposite direction. I grinned as I watched him go.
Coffee boy will just have to find someone else...
I prefer Seaweed brain anyway.
