Leo

"Hey," I said as I sat on the pier. Annabeth looked up from her book and smiled,

"Hey Leo," She replied. For the last few months, I had brought her lunch on the pier as she was almost too big to move.

"Any word of Percy?" She asked hopefully. I pursed my lips. This also happened every day. She sighed and bit her lip.

"I'm sorry," I told her. She nodded,

"It's fine. He's been missing for eight months before,"

"Apart from this time it's nine months and you're pregnant... by nine months and-"

"Leo," Annabeth cut in pointedly. I shut up. Just then Annabeth's face tensed.

"What?" I asked. Annabeth shook her head,

"No. No, nothing I'm f- ahh!" She held her breath for so long I thought that she was going to suffocate. I jumped up from my position on the pier.

"Annabeth, are you sure you're okay?" I asked. Annabeth nodded voilently,

"I'm goo- GET ME TO A HOSPITAL!" She yelled. I nodded,

"Okay, lets go!" I agreed and ran down the pier, before skidding to a halt, "I'm coming!" I told her and rushed back. I grabbed her arm to help her up.

"Wow, you're really big," I gasped. She looked at me, flame dancing across her thunderstorm eyes. I gulped,

"Yep, hospital,"

As quickly as we could, we rushed through the camp to get to the Apollo cabin,

"Hey guys, what's u-"

"Move or I will slit your throat!" Annabeth growled at the new camper we had passed. I shot him an apologetic glance and we continued to run - or waddle - toward cabin seven. I knocked on the door. No one answered.

Annabeth gritted her teeth.

"What are you-" I began, but Annabeth had already broken down the door. My eyes widened, "Annabeth-" But again, she cut me off.

"Hospital - now!" I nodded again and took her into the cabin. Inside was all different shades of yellow and pale blue. About ten heads looked up when we came in,

"We have a bit of a... situation," I told them while Annabeth's breathing increased. Six of the Apollo cabin imedietly jumped up - Will solace included.

One of them reached into a closet and brought out a wheel chair, before helping Annabeth into it. Two more took some sheets out of a basket, while three others got a bed ready for her.

"Okay, you can squeeze me hand if you like," I told her. She nodded while beads of sweat rolled down her forehead.

"Hey, hey we're here," Jason panted as he, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Grover, Thalia and Clarrise burst through the doorway.

"What are you all doing here?" Annabeth panted. Thalia grimaced,

"You didn't think we'd miss the.. the birth of your child, did you?" Everyone looked at her blankly, "It's childbirth... it's disgusting!" She scowled.

"Is he back yet?" Annabeth wheezed. Everyone shared an incredulous look.

"No," Piper said as she made her way to Annabeth's side, "Not yet,"

"But he will be," Frank reassured her.

"Can we just get this over with?" Annabeth whimpered.

"Not yet," Will told her, "You only nine centimetres-"

"No!" Jason and Clarrise yelled in unison,

"No yucky talk," Clarrise growled. Will rolled his eyes.

"Oh my Gods!" Annabeth screamed, squeezing my hand. I yelped and tried to shake out of her grip,

"How strong are you?" I shouted, while Jason laughed at me.

"You wanna try this?" I asked him, but Will shushed me,

"No shouting," He hissed, "It just creates more stress."

Everyone shut up.

"Okay, I think we're ready," One of the Apollo campers confirmed, "We can't have all of you in here at once,"

Everyone looked at each other and then back at the camper - Julia, I think her name was.

"Guys, a few of you are gonna have to leave," She told us. Everyone looked away awkwardly,

"SOME ONE GET OUT, SO THAT THIS  THING CAN GET OUT OF ME!" Annabeth roared. Immediately, Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel and Clarrise rushed out of the room, leaving me Thalia and Annabeth alone.

"I can leave too if you want," I offered. Annabeth shook her head.

"No. You've been with me throughot this whole thing, and now your stuck," I grimaced,

"Oh... Good," Thalia laughed at me my face. I shot her a death look,

"I can leave too," She mumbled, and started for the door,

"Leave and you're a dead man," Annabeth threatened, tightening her grip on my hand.

"Is there a way that we can get her some ambrosia?" I asked tentatively. Will shook his head,

"Anymore and she'll burst into flames,"

I gulped,

"Okay, get ready,"
