(3rd Person)

"Okay, flour, sugar, blue food die... Did my Mum have everything else?" Percy asked as he and Annabeth made their way down the confectionery isle.

"I think so," She replied.

"I can't believe that we just got back from fighting a war and my mum makes us go shopping," Percy scoffed.

"Shopping to get ingredients for blue cookies that you want," Annabeth pointed out. Percy shrugged.

"Percy!" A voice rang out from behind them. The two teenagers turned around to see a little girl with dark pigtails and dungarees... namely: Estelle Jackson.

"What's up, Essie?" Percy asked, kneeling down to her height.

"Can I ride in the trolley?" She asked him. Percy wrinkled his nose, as if deep in thought. His face then broke into a huge grin,

"Hop in," He said, before lifting her up as if she were weightless and plonking her down in the seat of the trolley. The trio began to slowly pace the isle, looking for anything else that they could have missed,

"Excuse me?" Someone asked from behind them. Again, Percy turned around to see someone staring at him expectantly.

"Can we help you?" Annabeth asked. Her calculating eyes scanning the woman before them. She had curly grey hair and glasses that magnified her bright blue eyes,

"I just wanted to say how lovely a family you look," She said, "How old is your daughter?"

Annabeth smiled,

"Actually, She-" but Percy put his hand on hers.

"Estelle turned two around a month ago," He replied,

"Oh, well isn't that sweet," The woman said, giving them a smile. Percy returned it, "Well, I'll let you get on," She remarked and ambled down the isle to the check out.

"Why didn't you correct her when she though Estelle was our daughter?" Annabeth whispered as they too walked down to the cashier. Percy shrugged,

"Come on, tell me," Annabeth begged. He grinned,

"I guess... I guess I wanted it to be true,"

Ans with that, he walked off, leaving Annabeth shellshocked.
