Amora

"I can't believe you totally just scammed that guy!" Carrie smiled, shaking her head as she walked along side me.

"I had too, now my dad won't hear a thing about it since I faked my near death on him!" I smiled happily, clapping my hands.

She shook her head with a laugh before I stopped in my tracks, and looked up towards the building.

"This is my stop, my dad really was not joking when he said he was going to send me to help at the daycare. I'll call you ok?" I sighed, turning over to look at her.

She nodded before we waved each other goodbye, and parted ways down the sidewalk.

I grabbed ahold of the door bars pulling it open, before stepping inside and instantly noticing the change of temperature in the air conditioned room.

"Hi Catherine!" I called out, giving the women a wave who sat a desk.
"Hello dear!" She called back out, flashing me a wave back.

"Love that jacket!" I smiled, slowly walking past her desk.
"Oh you're too sweet, thank you dear!" She laughed, shaking her head at me.

I smiled as I hung up my bag and fluffed out my hair before turning around, dropping my mouth once my eyes spotted Benny who sat with the kids surrounding him.

"What are you doing here!" I blurted, narrowing my eyes once I stomped over.

"Oh I kinda have to be here, Catherine's my mom?" he shrugged like it was obvious, before rolling his eyes.
"What about you?" He rose an eyebrow, briefly looking me up and down.

"I got to be here because my dads acting like a total bust thanks to you!" I groaned, pointing my finger at him.

He simply nodded before looking back down watching as the kids all played on the carpet.

"Amora! You're back!" A voice called, making me look down to see Ruby, a small little girl who smiled up at me.

"Hi rubes" I sighed, gently patting her head and gave her a soft smile.

"Come play with me!" She exclaimed happily, before grabbing my hand and tugging me away.

Benny

I set down the small toy onto the desk before leaning back in the chair with a sigh.

I began to doze off in my own thoughts before hearing a small voice, making me snap out of it.

"Benny?" A voice asked, revealing a little girl who tried to climb up onto the chair next to me.

"Yeah Sammy?" I asked, picking her up and placing her onto the chair.

"Is she your girlfriend?" She leaned in whispering, pointing towards Amora.

I gave her a funny look before shaking my head with a laugh.
"No Sam, she isn't" I answered, laughing at the thought.

"Oh, well I think she's pretty! Don't you?" She asked, smiling excitedly as she twiddled her doll around.

I looked back up seeing Amora sat on a chair as she was talking enthusiastically with a few little girls sitting, and watching her intently.

I studied her before finally responding.
"She is huh?" I muttered, shaking my head immediately once I came to realization of what I said.

"I-I mean

"Ooo you like her!" The little girl teased, pointing up at me with a smile.

I simply laughed shaking my head in denial.
"I don't. But go play Sammy" I laughed, ruffling her hair before picking her up and placing her back down.

I watched as she ran off before looking back up to see Amora flailing her hands around dramatically, with the girls all smiling.

Soon one of the little girls stood up and walked over across the room, stopping once she approached another little boy.

I furrowed my eyebrows watching when she turned back around with Amora nodding and giving her a thumbs up.

Immediately then the little girl lifted her leg back and kicked the little boy in the crotch, making him groan as he fell onto his knees.

I widened my eyes quickly rushing over with Amora doing the same.
"Yes! I told you, you could do it!" She exclaimed clapping her hands, before lifting her hand to high five her.

I stopped her by grabbing onto her hand and pulling her away, away from everyone else.

"Ugh! Quite doing that will you!" She gagged, throwing my hands away from her.
"Amora what was that!" I exclaimed, crossing my arms.

"What? That was her boyfriend, I'm teaching them useful stuff here!" She explained, with a shrug as she briefly examined her nails.

"What! No Amora you can't teach them that! They're four, they were probably 'dating' for like 5 minutes!" I shrieked, shaking my head at her behavior.

"Oh lighten up. That boy totally deserved it, he hugged another girl when they were dating. Way unbelievable!" She defended herself, crossing her arms disappointingly.

"Now, if you would leave me be. I got so much more ladies that desperately need my help" she sighed, smoothing out her skirt.

"These boys are super unfaithful! Can you believe it!" She shook her head, before pushing past me.

I sighed letting her walk away her before widening my eyes once I realized what she said, making me immediately rush after her.
