Married Life

I woke up feeling something on my lip.

Dahan dahan kong minulat ang mata ko, and there I saw the sly Calvin Pierce. My husband.

"Grabe ka naman maka murder sa lips ko." I whispered. He looked at me and chuckled.

He was about to kiss me again when we heard running footsteps.

"Mommy! Mommy! Daddy!!" Sigaw ni Clytie sa labas ng kwarto namin habang kumakatok ng malakas.

Clytie Airlyse our first born. She's 5 years old very cheerful and very makulit.

Sabay kaming natawa ni Calvin at siya na ang tumayo upang pag buksan si clytie. Habang sinuot ko naman ang robe ko at bumalik sa pagkakahiga sa kama.

"Mommy! Can we bake Cheesecake? Please Please.." Deretso agad ang pag papapuppy eyes niya sa'kin nang pagbuksan siya ng Daddy niya ng pinto.

"You won't greet Daddy goodmorning?" Tanong ni Calvin habang naupo ulit sa kama namin at humarap sa super adorable namin na anak.

"Sorry Daddy! Goodmorning!!" She greeted cheerfully and hugged-kissed his Dad.

"Goodmorning baby.." Calvin also said to her.

Clytie is actually a Daddy's Girl. But she wants a favor from me so sa'kin agad siya pumunta.

Kumalas ng yakap si Clytie kay Calvin at deretcho agad ang pagharap sa'kin.

"Mommy, Goodmorning!!" She hugged-kissed me too. I chuckled.

"Goodmorning baby.. And yes we can bake!" I told her that made her cheer again.

"Let's go!!" Clytie cheerfully said and hinila na ako papalabas ng kwarto. Habang natatawa lang si Calvin na nagaayos ng kama namin.

"Here.." I gave her the Whisk because she said she wanna mix the egg. We're done baking. We're just preparing our breakfast.

"Mommy.." Agad ako nagangat ng tingin sa bunso kong pababa ng hagdan. Agad siyang dinaluhan ni Calvin at kinarga papalapit sa'min. "Mommy.." He looks like he was about to cry and lend his arms to me like he wants me to carry him.

Agad ko siyang kinuha sa Daddy niya at kinarga. Deion Arch my youngest. He's just three years old. He's silent but makulit sometimes. He can play some instruments already. I think because of his dad who always teach him.. Deion always insist tho.

"Mommy's Boy." Calvin remarked. We chuckled together while looking at Deion who rest his head on my shoulder.

"Why did you came down? You're still sleepy.." I said while dancing him softly.

"I smell cheesecake.." He nuzzled my neck that made me giggle. "I'm not sleepy anymore Mommy. I just want to cuddle you." He sweetly said and back at nuzzling my neck.

Manang mana sa tatay!!

I giggled again. "We'll cuddle later okay?" I told him.

"Uhuh." He said and hugged me more. I looked at Calvin and Clytie who's now preparing our plates sa lamesa.

"Let's eat." Ibinaba ko na si Deion sa upuan niya at naupo narin sa upuan ko.

"Ate Clytie can you pray for our food?" Calvin asked her smiling.

"Let's bow our head.." We all bowed our head when Clytie said it. "Heavenly Father, We thankyou for such a wonderful morning you gave to us. And Thankyou for the foods and blessings you gave to us this day. And I pray that throughout this day we'll receive your blessing. In Jesus name we pray.."

"Amen." We all said in chorus.

"Yey! Let's eat!" Calvin said.

When we finished eating we all decided to eat our cheescake sa Garden.

The two wait there patiently while me and Calvin is naghaharutan here sa kitchen.

"Calvin.." I giggled as he kissed my cheeks.

"I really love you cheeks baby it's so fluffy.." He softly bite ng cheeks that made me laugh.

"Stop!" I finally turned my back to him agad kong kinuha ang cheescake na inihanda namin at nakasunod naman siya sa'kin patungong Garden.

"Cheesecake!!" The two shouted in joy.

While eating I saw how the two got their ukuleles and my husband here sa tabi ko got his guitar too.

"1,2,3, Let's go!" Calvin signaled.

"It's on you, To see the world in a different point of view. For all the many questions that have left you afraid."  Deion started with his still slow still adjusting voice. While Calvin and Clytie giving him a slow instrumental so it would match.

I watched them smiling..

"It's on you, To see a different world in front of you. To find the answers right inside of you. To know that it's true.." Clytie with her soft voice sang...

"Maybe it's time to see you fade.. Or shine like the brightest light in the milky way. 'Cause all of the stars will fall for you now.."  Agad namang sunod si Calvin habang nakatingin sa'kin.

Nang matapos ang verse ni Calvin tumingin silang lahat sa'kin na para bang inaantay ako..

I smiled.

"The colors you fill in the world that I live
Is taking me in for a sight like a little child
Keep pulling me in, I'm holding you now.."

I sang while they're looking at me smiling..

"Show me the things that you are. And hope that your dreams may last.." We finished the last part of the chorus together..

We laughed and bond while eating our cheescake..

Calvin pulled me for and embrace while looking at the two who's eating their cheescake quietly while Clytie is teaching Deion some chords in the ukulele.

"Mahal," My heart starts to beat fast when Calvin whispered on my ear. I looked again to my children. They glance at us and smiled and they're to what they're doing. "Ikaw palagi, Sa lahat ng sitwasyon, At sa lahat ng pagkakataon.." He whispered kissing my head.

Now I can call myself whole.. With the arms of my love the man of my dreams.. Having two little kids. Made me whole again. My one and only dream. With my love. Calvin, Clytie and Deion.
