(Y/n)'s P.O.V

After Deerling said her goodbyes to her friends and family, we made our way back to Driftveil City. It was around midday by the time we got back to the city center. My main priority was to finish everything as soon as possible and relax over the next two days. Arceus knows how much we need a break. 'Alright, if trends keep up, this next gym'll be an hour or two at least... We should probably-' My thoughts were interrupted by someone lightly gnawing on my arm. Startled, I jumped back and observed Zoroark lick her lips.

'Human, if we do anything else before food, I'll continue eating you.' My expression quickly morphed into one of disgust, before I turned to the street vendors.

"Alright, I give." I half-heatedly say, my mind on other things. "What does everyone want?" Herdier jumps up and barks,

'Jerky!' His enthusiastic response made the girls turn away from him, Zoroark growling as she did so.

'Those sweets from Kalos...' Zoroark mumbled quietly. I snickered, the moodiest of the group wanting sweets was just funny to me.

'Poffins!' Rufflet squawked loudly, landing on my head.

'Berries?' Deerling barely whispered.

"How about all of the above? We just have to find the right vendors!"

We wandered around, looking at the foods and other products they had on offer. From afar, I could tell that Kalos sold a lot to do with art, some of their work was massive after all, but close up? A different story completely. They had key chains with more detail that I've ever seen on something that small, they had quite a few books on art itself and 'How to's for sale as well, photos of the Kaloan mountain ranges too. They even sold brushes and pencils! I'm not an art geek, so I don't know if they're something special, but I can believe it! While here, Zoroark ogled the sweets on the table. There were five types from what I could see; a pink one which was most likely strawberry, a green one which was probably mint, an orange one which was, well, orange, and two brown, one light the other a rich brown possibly cinnamon and chocolate. There were variations of the five types, some had icing, others had toppings, while some had both.

'Human...' Zoroark whined. 'Is that chocolate...?' I smiled and called over the vendor.

"I'll take two of each of your Poke Puffs." I payed and left with everyone to find the rest of our lunch.

Next, we went to Hoenn section next. There were a surprising amount of plush toys and posters, they were branded with a small logo resembling an S and a B. They also sold quite a bit of mineral goods, gems to unique stones, even some fossils! Pearls and other marine products, dried seaweed and fish happened to be quite popular, as was the sea salt. Boxes of bags were front and center in most of the stalls, and the bags were filled to the brim with small, bite sized blocks of all different colours. I waved over the Hoenn vendor and pointed at the multi coloured blocks. "What are these?"

"Poke Blocks, a treat made from berries." This caught Deerlings attention, prompting her to give me her pleading, doe-eyed stare.

'Blodyn! Can I try some?' I nodded and picked up a few of the bags.

"How much for this many?"

We then wandered over to the Kantonian area, and instantly, we were hit by the powerful smell of spices and herbs. There was a heavy emphasis on the food here, but thanks to the fact that their dishes were oriental in nature, they sold out quite quickly. There were a few documentaries on offer too; The Making of Porygon, Inner Workings of Silph Co. and Champ in the Making to name a few. The sticky sweet smell of strawberry jelly was particularly strong around the next few stalls, signalling the sale of their famous donuts. I make my way over to the vendor and take in the sight of the stacks upon stacks of delicious snacks, my mouth watering the longer I stared.
