(Y/n)'s P.O.V

After what happened yesterday, we thought a day of rest would do our pokemon good, so we stayed in Striaton City. Bianca was bonding with Munna, Hilbert was messing around with his pokemon, I was taking care of my pokemon, I was bathing Lillipup right now. Hang on, that's only three!

"Hey guys, where's Cheren?" I ask over my shoulder, into the main room.
"Now that I think about it, I haven't seen him since he beat the gym. That was like two days ago!" Bianca replied.
"Hill, how 'bout you?" I asked.
"No clue," I looked back to see him in the doorway. "I haven't seen him in a while." Hilbert started to laugh.
"Hill, why are you laughing?" I asked, completely unaware of the situation.
"Your soaked! Your also wearing white." I looked down to see that both statements were true. My cheeks flushed to a brilliant shade of red.
"Crap!" I grabbed a towel and a clean top. "Hey Hill, finish cleaning Lillipup. I'm going to get changed, we do not speak of this again! Even if you are blackmailing me!" I ran to get changed. I may have only known these guys for a little while, I really do trust them... They really are friends! I threw on the new top and put the wet one in the cleaning pile, note to self - clean some clothes. I went to see how Hilbert was and saw he was in the bath with Lillipup! "I know, for a little guy he's a handful." I giggled.
"Your telling me! Whenever I grabbed the soap, he'd try to dash!" He said while playfully giving the pokemon a noogie. *
'The bath is fun! I get to use water moves on people!' Lillipup barked cheerfully.
"Well, at least you're getting clean while having fun!" I said to Lillipup.
'Clean? Oh, well I'll just have to play in mud after this!' Lillipup threatened.
"Oooh, no you don't! You will not do that! No mud!"
"I said nothing about mud!" Hilbert responded defensively.
"No, Lillipup did. He said he'd play in mud after this." I said nonchalantly to Hilbert, forgetting that he didn't know. "If I catch you in mud after this, you'll only have the green poke puffs as punishment!" I threatened back.
'Noooooooo! Not the green ones!' He howled in distress.
"If I didn't know better, I'd say you were having a conversation with Lillipup!" Hilbert laughed.

'But you do! You were with my human when she was demonstrating!' Zorua barked.
"No, actually, he wasn't. He was talking with the nurse at the Poke Center." I explained to Zorua. When I turned back, Hilbert was looking at me weirdly.
"(Y/n), stop, the joke's done." This again.
I sighed. "It's not a joke Hill, ask B." Hopping nothing would happen.
"I heard my name!" She was by the door. 'Oh Arceus! She scared me!'
"Bianca, our dear friend's lost it." 'Ouch.'
"How?" She asked.
"Having conversations with pokemon!" He said as if it was the most obvious thing ever.
"Nope, she can actually, she spoke with Cheren's Oshawott!" She explained. 'Thank you!'
"Your both nuts." I expected this. I sighed again, having heard these insults before.
"Send out your Tepig, I'll prove it. Again." He does as I ask, with some hesitation. "Hey Tepig." I said. I was trying to be polite, but I could hear the irritation in my voice.
'Hello, friend!' He snorted cheerfully! Wow, he's friendly.
"Well! Aren't you friendly! You're a great fighter I've noticed, what's your secret?" I asked, genuinely curious.
'Well, it's may sound bad but... We get up super early, and practice our moves on Teach!' He replied. I planned to have words with Hilbert about getting himself hurt!
"Oh, so that's why he has so many scorched clothes, I'll speak to him about that!" I looked up at him while I said that, he nodded knowing he wasn't going to get out of it this time! But I was still curious about his pokemon were trained, so I questioned further. "But that's it?"
'No! Friend, that's only the beginning! We do a lot of running and carrying! Or pushing if you're like me! Teach is smart like that!' 'So... They do training circuits? Interesting...' Shaking the new ideas out of my head I think back to what Tepig had said, and what I was going ask him.
"Do you have anything you'd like to say to 'Teach'? He can't actually understand you. You see, I'm an odd case I hear you like I would a human, but these two hear you as a Tepig. I'll be translator for them!" I explained to Tepig, finally getting to the proof part the conversation.
'Well... Friend, tell Teach that we don't like hitting him, it makes us feel bad, hurting is bad! I'll burn anyone who hurts him!' He oinked angrily, before going back to his happy self. 'And tell him lighten up! We won't leave him, even if Team Porkma win!'
"Okay, will do!" I told him, laughing at the name given. I turned back to Hilbert. "Tepig doesn't like the current way you train, and hearing I don't either. And he says not to worry about losing, they'll stay with you even if Porkma wins." I said with a semi-straight face. Before a couple of giggles could leave my mouth, the stunned boy spoke up.
"How'd you know that I called them that!" He was so shocked, poor boy! But all I did was point down to the small, happy-go-lucky Tepig. "Oh... So, you actually can understand them?"

I nodded. I started to laugh, as my face started to heat up again. I glanced at Hilbert and Lillipup then turned to face Bianca. She looked at me strangely, but I looked back at Hilbert. I'm assuming she did the same, since she burst into laughter.
"What are you laughing at?" Hilbert asked. He gasped. 'I think he now understands why we're laughing!' While I was demonstrating, it seems like Lillipup got bored and bit onto a loose thread of Hilberts trousers. Now Lillipup was in a huge ball of thread, and Hilbert was without his trousers.
"Hill, how didn't you notice that!?" Bianca laughed out. His face became red.
"I'll get you... Actually, go get changed. You're going to need new boxers as well." I recommended. 'Well... At least he was wearing some.' Hilbert grabbed another towel and ran to his room with it around his waist. I picked Lillipup up and inspected our new Mareep. "This is going to take a while." I looked at Bianca, who was currently fishing out the elastic from the bath. "We can do that later B, Lillipup is in a Joltiks web of thread." 'What an ending to a serious moment!'

We untangled Lillipup with little struggle when Hilbert came back. I wanted to go to the day care that was on the next route, but I didn't really want to go on my own. 'I've learnt my lesson. Always have a buddy.'
"Hey guys, I'm going to head to the next city, next gym's there." Hilbert said picking his things up.
"I'll come with!" I jumped, rushing to pick up my things also, "I was going to help at the Day Care, I need some extra money."
"What have you been doing with the cash you've been getting from trainers?" Bianca asked getting her belongings.
"Saving it. After I do what I set out to do, I'll fix it." I replied. I looked over to Bianca, she didn't exactly understand but I never did tell. "One day B, I will tell you. Today isn't that day." She just looked at me, eventually she nodded with a smile. We continued packing up, Zorua was trying to help but she jumped on my shoulder after she got bored.
'I smell sweet, like the brown poke puffs!' Zorua yipped happily.
"Yes, you now smell like chocolate." I reply while stuffing a bag with my clean clothes.
'What does chocolate taste like?' Zorua asked.
"When I find chocolate for pokemon, I'll get some!" I say when patting the pokemon's head. "B, do you know where I could get chocolate for pokemon?" She shrugged and shook her head.

*Noogie - Rubbing ones knuckles against anothers skull, most likely causing pain.

Sorry about this weird chapter, I really wanted to split a chapter up and I needed a funny (to me) chapter. It's weird but we'll get into more serious stuff in the next like 3 chapters maybe. This is really just filler or there would be 2 gym battles right next to each other, it's not great to write 2 'intense' scene 1 after another. (She says, read next chapter to see what she means.)
