(Y/n)'s P.O.V

Well, that was abrupt. Hilbert looked at me and shrugged, I shrugged also.
'She'll kill ya both!' Lillipup barked at us.
"Oh, hush up! We won't die!" I said, looking down at Lillipup.
"Huh? I didn't say anything! What about dying?" Hilbert asked worried. He still doesn't know about this?! Arceus above! We went to this 'Fennels' house, and she was waiting for us.
"Come in!" She said. We followed her inside. "You're going to meet all of the pokemon in the Unova region. Am I right? Oh, the stairs are right here! My room is upstairs here. Come on, go upstairs!" We did as she asked. When we got up, she finally began to explain. "So, like I said, I'm Fennel, and as you can see, I'm a scientist. In fact, the subject I'm researching is Trainers! Professor Juniper is my friend from college. She asked me to help you guys." Okay, so Juniper asked this scientist to help us. 'Does this mean me? I wasn't given a pokedex thought, so I'm just going to wait outside.'
"I'm sorry to interrupt you, but I wasn't given a pokedex, so I'm going to wait outside." I smile politely, before I leave to go downstairs, I told Hilbert, "If I'm not there, I'll be in the dream yard, I want to rewind a bit!" And with that, I left. I waited outside for a minute or two, but I eventually got fed up with waiting. I let Zorua off of my head, and she started walking with Lillipup. It was nice. We got to the dream yard and we're challenged by a couple of people, but got to a road block. A tree. Well, sort of anyway. I could climb over it, but it would be a bad time for me. I wasn't really planning on doing much, so I just laid down in the grass.
'(Y/n), ya look happy, what's up? Did someone scratch under ya chin?' Lillipup asked curiously tilting his head, while his tail wagged.

"Nothing like that puppy, it's just been a while since I've been like this. Like being out in the wild, last time I was out like this willingly was when I was around seven... I was with the stray that my father had picked up... We were out playing a game of tag with the wild pokemon, I tripped over a tree root and fell, I was on my back when I opened my eyes to an entire section of flowers and autumn coloured trees! It was a sight though, all the colours." I smiled at the memory, "Everything was gorgeous. The boy... I'll call him Forest, well he rode in on the back of an autumn form Sawsbuck, it was majestic. But me and Forest, well, we ended up just lying in the middle of this beautiful area. Doing nothing else but laying there. I ended up plucking a leaf and playing a song I had heard at home before Forest showed up, you've heard it before, but I'll play it again... My nostalgia is getting the better of me." I laughed and picked a leaf and started playing Oracion. Zorua and Lillipup laid down beside me a little bit into the song, and a few other wild pokemon such as Patrat and Purrloin gathered around.

"(Y/n)?" Someone's voice cut across the song however, it sent the wild pokemon fleeing and my two pokemon growing and readying moves. "(Y/n)!? Where are you?" But it was only Hilbert, luckily. "(Y/n)? Oh, there you are!"
"Heya, what do you need?" I said sitting up stiffly.
"I was just about to head into the ruined area, plus you said you'd be here like ten minutes ago in Fennels house." Looking up I try to recall, not three seconds later I replied.
"I did, didn't I? I guess reminiscing make you lose track of time! Well then, lead the way!" I followed Hilbert to where the small tree was, he told his Patrat to use cut on the tree. The tree was cut down quickly, and we passed the crumbling entrance only to be greeted by Bianca of all people.
"Hi, Hilbert, (Y/n)! Are you looking for the mysterious pokemon, too? I'm just really, really wondering how showing dreams works..."
"Woah! Slow down B, what are you on about? Mysterious pokemon?" I asked curiously.
"Well it's call-"
'He...p' A noise catches our attention. 'Help?'
"Hey! Did you hear a sound coming from the other side of that wall? Come on! Let's go see!" We all run to where the sound was heard from. "Oh! Wait!" A pink, flowered pokemon was floating there. 'Could she be the pokemon who called for help? She does look injured... Who did this?'

As if on cue, two Plasma grunts walked out from the wall on the left. "We found you Munna! Come on, come on! Make some Dream Mist!" The male grunt yelled at the poor pokemon.
"Huh? Who are you?! What are you doing?" Bianca asks
"Are you talking about us? We're Team Plasma, we battle day and night to liberate pokemon from foolish humans!"
The female grunt piped up, "What are we doing? The pokemon Munna and Musharna emit a mysterious vapor called 'Dream Mist', which shows people's dreams. We're going to use that to make people want to release their, we'll show them dreams to manipulate their hearts!" And with that the male grunt turns to the pokemon and starts to kick it, yelling at it to give him Dream Mist.
"Hold up! Your hurting pokemon, just to further your own gain?! That pokemon is obviously hurt, now leave it alone!" Zorua jumped off of my shoulder when I went to try and push the male grunt, but the other one held me back.
"Whaaat! Don't hurt (Y/n)!" Bianca shouted at the female grunt.
"(Y/n)! Hey, let her go!" Hilbert shouts but that doesn't stop the restraining hold she has on me!
"Oh! So, this is where you've been hiding, our king has been lonely... Good thing we kept him from you, he might have jumped as well." The female grunt whispered into my ear. My eyes go wide. 'Crap! I thought that would keep me off their radar! Was it the grunt in the last town?' I thrash even more violently, and luckily manage to get out of her hold.
"You're kicking a Pokémon to make it give off Dream Mist? You're Trainers too, right? So, fight me you pathetic excuse for a human!" I challenged, Zorua seemed to like this idea, while Lillipup just liked the idea of a fight.
"I'll fight the guy, (Y/n) you seem to have a grudge with the girl so take her!" Hilbert said from behind me.

The female Purugly, I mean Team Plasma grunt sent out a Purrloin, so I let Lillipup handle this little kitty. Lillipup used Tackle to test the waters, but Purrloin was fast, a little too fast for Lillipup to keep up with. "Lillipup! Defensive tactics!" I recommended. Lillipup did just that, he stayed in a Protect and waited for the right time to counter. Purrloin attacked with viscous Fury Swipes, but none of them hit! Lillipup used Take Down and staggered the opponent, leaving wide open for another attack. Using the newly learned Work Up from the first gym, he buffed himself and used Take Down again, this time sending the poor Purrloin flying back into the Milta- I mean Team Plasma grunt behind her. "Well done Lillipup!"

Looking over to Hilberts fight, I saw his Tepig out against a Patrat. "Use ember!" Hilbert commanded, the Tepig followed up quickly with a scorching Ember. 'Imagine that little Tepig knowing flamethrower!' I shudder at the thought. The attack hit directly, and the punishing blow knocked the Patrat unconscious. "I win that battle, grunt!"
"Well done guys! Now, leave that Munna alone!" Bianca shouted in her pouting voice, the one she used when she knows no one's listening to her. However, the grunts just went back to kicking the unfortunate pokemon, that was until Ghetsis appeared to our left. 'He just showed up out of nowhere!' Then he was to the right of me in a flash! 'I didn't even see him move!' And finally, he was behind the two grunts. They said something to each other before running away. A pokemon with a pinkish mist coming from its head floated towards the Munna.
"...What was that just now? That person called Ghetsis appeared all over the place, and it wasn't real, right?! ...Could it have been a dream?" Bianca was trying to warp her head around what just happened.
"I don't know, let's make sure tha-" I was cut off by someone.
"Oh! I couldn't wait, so I came over! ...Is that Musharna?! Did something happen?" It was Fennel.
"Oh, Fennel. Well, you see, Munna was here... But Team Plasma and Munna... And Musharna came... And it showed us something like a dream? And then, Team Plasma..." Bianca tried to explain and was doing poorly, but Fennel understood. Somehow.
"I think I followed that... See, Musharna evolves from Munna. So, seeing Munna in trouble, it used its power -making dreams into reality- to save Munna. Which means...wait a second!" She rushed past us, knocking Hilbert to the ground, only to pick up a pink wet goo like substance off the floor. "Is this Dream Mist?! With this, I can complete my research! You two," She pointed at Bianca and Hilbert. "Come to my house later, OK?" And she ran off!

"What... Just happened?" Hilbert asked, clearly bewildered at what just happened.
"Phew. How random was that? Hill, why don't you go to Fennel's house?" Bianca said.
"What about you B?" I asked.
"Me? Well, I'm going to go look for the Pokémon we saw just now."
"I'll come with you B. See you Hill!" I waved at Hilbert, who was still unsure of what happened right in front of him. Me and Bianca looked around for a while until we found a Munna, she was scared. "Munna, we won't hurt you. My friend here, her name is Bianca, she wants to be friends with you. Do you want that?" I asked as kindly as I could without scaring the pokemon anymore.
'Well... After what happened with Munna and Musharna... I don't want those people after me...' Munna whispered.
"Don't worry about them, Bianca wanted to stop that, and we did! She's nice, I swear." I tell her.
'Ya know, Miss Munna... If you do become friends with Ditsy over there, she'll protect ya from the Plasma pack.' Lillipup barked.
"That's true, so will you? She'll take good care of you, and will protect you from Team Plasma." I reassured. If the Munna is scared of being hurt, protection will be important for the pokemon to trust Bianca. I motioned my hand for Bianca to get closer.
"Hi Munna. I don't understand you like (Y/n), but I'll do my best. So how about it? I will stop anybody from hurting you if that's what your scared of. All you have to do is tap this ball." Bianca said while pulling out a pokeball. "This is what'll keep you safe, and that will be safe with me!"
'... You promise I'll be okay?' Munna whispered, I nodded. She looked between me and Bianca and down to Lillipup and Zorua, and then nodded in her own way. 'I'll do it.' And then she booped her head against the pokeball.
"ThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyou!" Bianca hugged me tightly out of nowhere when the pokeball clicked.
"B! Can't... Breathe!" I choked out, hitting her back. "Let... go! Dark... er..." Zorua saw my lack of oxygen, and jumped onto Biancas shoulder, grabbed her hat and jumped away with it in her mouth. She let go immediately looking for her hat. I gasped "Sweet fresh air!" We both laughed at what just happened, and we went to Fennel's house to meet up with Hilbert. Next city, here we come!
