Megan's POV
The chill of the evening air makes this place spookier. I mean seriously, an alley? At night? It's like being kidnapped all over again. I can't even see with clear vision, for goodness sake!

Barry was dressed in his red suit somewhere nearby, waiting for the right moment. Both of us had earpieces connected so we could talk to each other and Star Labs. Everyone could hear exactly what was happening at the moment.

"And here I thought I was going to have to force you to show up." A blurry Logan steps out of the shadows and chuckles. "Come here." He motions for me to come closer.

I take a few steps and then stop in my tracks. I don't want to be in the total darkness of the alley with this guy.

"I won't bite. Come here." He says more demanding.

"This is as far as I'm going." I cross my arms.

Logan starts to walk toward me, but I back up with every step he takes. "Do you remember what happened at Jitter's today? Because I will do that again." He threatens.

I freeze, weighing the options. Should I get myself killed over backing away from him, or should I do as he says and let him have his way with me? I don't know about you, but I'd rather die than let him touch me.

"Now?" I hear Barry ask through my earpiece.

I reach up and pretend to scratch the side of my head. "Now," I whisper so Logan wouldn't hear.

In an instant, Flash stood between me and Logan. "Don't you dare lay a finger on her." He says in a commanding voice.

"Barry, the only way to stop him from hurting Megan or anyone else is by killing him." Dr. Wells speaks through our earpieces.

"Oh, I won't have to," I hear my ex-boyfriend responds to my fiancé and a few seconds later, I'm brought to my knees by the pain.

Spots fill my vision as I look up to see Barry tackle Logan. My ex was able to get up unharmed, and I was released from the pain grinding my stomach to shreds. Barry was gasping in pain on the ground.

Logan was going to kill him.

"No!" I shout as I run full-speed at Logan. I lunged at his back and got him into a choke hold. I could tell he wasn't hurting Barry anymore, because my head felt like it was going to explode. Barry was still lying on the ground, trying to regain his composure.

I tightened my grip as Logan clawed at the arm around his neck. The pain in my head was subsiding by the second. My vision cleared, too. He's not going to hurt anyone ever again.

Barry gets up as soon as Logan falls to the ground, lifeless. Oh. My. God. Did I just...did I just kill him?! I stumble to the ground and back away from the corpse, my breath quickening.

"Megan calm down." Barry runs up to me, looking over his shoulder at Logan.

"I just killed someone." I stare blankly at Barry and process what just happened. I cover my mouth with my hand. "I killed him." My muffled statement hangs in the air for a few moments as tears slide down my cold cheeks.

"It was self-defense, Megan. Calm down." He puts a hand on my leg and notices I'm shaking like crazy. "Come here." He moves closer to me.

I cringe, remembering Logan saying the exact words to me a few minutes ago. Barry notices and sends me an apologetic look.

In a few seconds we were in Star Labs. Caitlyn saw me and immediately brought me to a different room, letting Cisco and Dr. Wells talk to Barry.

My face was soaked with tears. I kept sniffling every few seconds. "Are
you okay?" Caitlyn says as she brings me in for a hug. She must've heard what happened from the earpieces.

"No." I wipe my eyes for the millionth time with my sleeve.

I don't even know why I'm crying. Logan was a freaking jerk, so he sort of deserved some pain, but not death. I never thought I would be the one to kill him. I didn't freak out as much as I did at the warehouse when I was kidnapped, so I'm confused on how I feel about this situation. I don't know, maybe the reason I'm so emotional at the moment is 'cause I'm close to starting my period.

We stayed quiet for a few minutes before I began to walk out. "I'm going to go talk to Iris." I mumble. I don't feel like talking to anyone but her and Barry.

Speaking of Barry, he catches up with me when I'm about to leave. "Where're you going?"

"I'm going to talk to Iris." I stop mid-step and turn to face him. "I'll be back in a bit."

"Okay, be careful." Barry gives me a quick kiss before I leave.
**********************
"Having a bad day?" Iris says as she sits across from me in Jitters. Jitters was closed, so we were the only employees there.

"You have no idea." I grumble and look down at the table.

"By the looks of it, I don't think you want to talk about it, do you?" She hesitantly changes the subject after a few seconds. "So... there's a friend of mine that I met awhile after you moved to Starling."

"What's her name?"

"Emma." Iris blurts out as soon as I finish the question. Okay then...

"Why I haven't I seen her or something?"

"She's on a business trip with her boyfriend out of town. Anyways, she told me over the phone a few days ago that she made a few friends. And one of the friends had a boyfriend."

"So what's the problem?"

"Well she's starting to have feelings for her friend's boyfriend, but she likes her own boyfriend, too. She's asking me if she should tell her friend-Audrey's her name-that she has a crush on her boyfriend. What do you think I should tell her?"

"Oh geez. You're asking me-the girl who cant even decide on what to have for lunch- for advice?"

"Well I need a girl's perspective, not a guy's. So what should I do? I mean...what should I tell Emma to do?"

I think for a moment. "Well I would say to tell her friend, because friendship needs honesty. Or maybe she shouldn't tell because her friend might feel threatened...? I don't know, that's a hard thing to decide."

"Yeah it is. But thanks for giving me your input on the situation; it might help her."

"No problem."

Wait. A. Minute.

I examine Iris. She would've mentioned Emma when I first moved back to Central. She's lying to me. I decide to mess with her to see if I'm right. "You know what? Barry would know her, so he would be able to help you with this." I bring out my phone.

Iris freezes on the spot, just like I expected. "No thanks, but um, that's okay."

I slide my phone back into my pocket. "Really, Iris? Lying to me, thinking I'd fall for it? That's 'okay?' I'm offended on how stupid you think I am."

"Megan wait-" Iris tries to explain, but I'm already out the door and heading to Barry's apartment.

If I tell Barry that Iris has a crush on him, will he leave me for her? Will he dump me to be with Iris?
