Barry's POV

"What's going on?" I question Oliver, who crosses his arms as he looks behind me.

"E.D. stands for Emerald Dragons. It's an organization that formed just out of Starling."

"So what do they do?" I still haven't comprehended what any of this means.

"They track down a person with potential. Then they'll have them join their group, and if the person refuses, they're made into a weapon."

"Megan never mentioned Joseph forcing her to join the organization. Are you sure about this?"

"Don't you get it? She was brainwashed. Hijacked. For all we know they could've changed her memories on some things. She's their weapon now."

"Megan's perfectly fine besides her mental state," I say through a clenched jaw. "There's no way they could've hijacked her memory."

"They did and when the timing is right, they'll use her emotions against her friends. She has the capability to kill you, Barry. Haven't you wandered why Joseph cut her head? He embedded a tracker and small disc in her scalp. She'll start hearing things that'll get her to do certain things."

"Like schizophrenia?" He nods. This can't be true. There's no possible way she would even think about killing me. Right? "Prove it, then."

Both of us walk back into the room to find Megan and Felicity chatting away with smiles on their faces. I turn my head towards Oliver and raise my eyebrows with a sly smile, "Told you so."

"Make her angry," Oliver commands, his eyes fixed on Megan.

"What?!" I tense, "No no no, she'd kill me if I do that."

"She'll kill you either way."

He has a point. I have no other choice.

"Megan," I motion her to follow me away from Oliver and Felicity.

"What's up?"

"Uh..." I scratch the back of my head. I really don't want to make her angry again. "Well, I..."

"What's wrong?"

I clear my throat and glance over at Oliver, who nods. Then my eyes roam down to my feet. I seriously don't want to do this, and to be honest, I don't know what to say. So I stay quiet.

Oliver, seeing that I obviously need help, walks over to us. "What Barry's been meaning to say is that..." he glances up at the ceiling as he thinks of an excuse, "he kind of had an affair with someone when you were kidnapped."

"WHAT?!" Megan and I shout in unison, out eyes wide with shock. That was uncalled for!

Megan looks back at me. "What the hell?" She mumbles at a loss of words. Anger and sadness immediately fills her eyes, and she just studies me.

"She's hearing the voices I was talking about," Oliver states beside me. "Tell her the truth."

I open my mouth to tell her it was a lie, but something stops me from doing it. The next thing I know, I'm against the wall with large shards of ice surrounding me. I can't move because needle sharp icicles pin my clothes to the wall.

"Megan..." I mutter. Oliver was right...

Oliver and Felicity grab Megan, who at the moment had a fierce scowl, but her eyes were in a daze. Like she wasn't aware of what was going on.

"It's a lie, Ortiz. Calm down and release him," Oliver demands.

Megan stares cruelly at me for another moment, and then she blinks rapidly, looking around in confusion. Oliver and Felicity cautiously let go of her.
