chapter 15

i woke up and was being carried somewhere. i looked up and saw harry.

"where are we going?" i said groggily.

"home" he said.

"oh is daniel ok?" i asked.

"yes he can leave tomorrow" he said.

"and what about-" i started

"jeremy is leaving tomorrow too" he said and i nodded.

"where's everyone else?" i asked.

"in the car" he said.

"i can walk there" i said.

"you sure?" he asked.

"i was tired i didn't break my legs" i said and he set me down laughing. we walked to the car and drove home. it was still dark outside so i had no idea what time it was.

"what time is it?" i asked.

"4:50" dad said and i sighed.

"why'd we leave in the middle of the night" i complained.

"because ollie is home with arizona" mom said.

"fine but i'm going to sleep when we get there" i said and they just gave me a thumbs up. we finally got home and i was so tired that dad carried my upstairs. i fell asleep almost immediately.

*time jump*

it's now sunday and daniel and jeremy are home.
jeremy is back to his old habits of being my enemy and everything is back to normal. well kind of. the new normal is that harry and i are together.

"HEY BESTIE" i yelled walking into the combs house hold.

"hi river" rachel said.

"river!" willow said hugging me.

"hey willow" i said and picked her up and she climbed around onto my back.

"how's your morning going?" i asked spinning willow around.

"alright yours?" rachel asked.

"good" i said then harry walked downstairs.

"hey riv" he said smiling and kissed mine and willows head.

"hi" i said smiling. i set willow down right as ollie and my parents came in. ollie and willow both ran upstairs.

"someone's birthdays coming up isn't it" sawyer said walking in.

"don't remind me" i said.

"why?" harry asked as i sat next to him.

"every year something goes wrong on my birthday" i said.

"like what?" rachel asked.

"let's see on my 12th birthday harry threw up on the cake, on my 13th birthday ollie hit me in the stomach with the piñata stick and i was sick, on my 14th birthday dad crashed his car, on my 15th birthday i got food poisoning, on my 16th jack and some guy got in a fight" i said

"yikes" dad said.

"never realized how bad your birthdays were riv" mom said.

"eh i just don't want anything big because then nothing bad can happen" i said.

"alright then it'll be small" dad said smiling.

"how many days is it?" sawyer asked.

"a birthday is one day long" dad said looking accomplished.

"i think he meant how many days until her birthday pepsi" mom said and we all laughed and dads face went red.

"whoops" he said.

"it's in 2 days" i said.

"alright" sawyer said.

"wanna go do something?" harry asked.

"sure what do you wanna do?" i replied.

"i don't know wanna go to the park?" he asked.

"sure" i stated and stood up.

"you sound like little kids" mom said.

"doesn't hurt to act like little kids sometimes" i said and harry took my hand and we walked to the park. we climbed up on the monkey bars and sat in silence. we were silent until eventually the juniors all arrived and climbed up on the monkey bars next to us.

"hey" parker said as he sat next to me.

"aloha" arizona said sitting next to harry.

"hola" hannah said sitting next to parker.

"hi" chases said sitting next to hannah.

"uhm am i supposed to say hello in a different language or something?" lexi asked sitting next to arizona.

"i dunno but all i've got is sup" jack said sitting next to lexi and we all laughed.

"it's so peaceful" i said laying on parker's shoulder.

"i wish it was like that all the time" chase said.

"me too" lexi said.

"oh great look who it is" jack said and we saw a blue mustang pulling up in front of us. none of us moved off the monkey bars we waited for them to come to us.

"already causing trouble? shouldn't you be resting?" i said as jeremy walked up to us.

"probably but that's boring" he said and i rolled my eyes and hopped down while everyone stayed up.

"i'm not in the mood to fight you" i said putting my hands in my pockets as his friends came up behind him.

"well that's not up to you is it" he said and harry hopped down as well as parker and jack and they all came up behind me so the others hopped down after doing the same.

"oh look your posse is back" jeremy said.

"seems your princesses are too" i said back.

"you know what greasers are?" jeremy said.

"what" i said.

"white trash with long greasy hair" he said and i laughed. most of my friends didn't grease there hair back like there parents or other greasers.

"you know what a soc is?" i said back.

"what?" jeremy said.

"white trash with mustangs and madras" i spit at him and he threw a punch. i ducked and punched him in the stomach but one chased after lexi and started dunking her in the fountain. parker jack and i ran over and got them off of her when we heard a car start and they were all running off.

"why can't we ever just have one damn day in peace" i sighed walking back over to harry hannah and chase.

"i wish i could tell ya" harry said wiping blood off u see my nose where one of jeremy's friends had hit me. we all sighed and walked to harrys house.

hi!! i honestly am just coming up with things on the spot so i hope you like it lol but i know there's just like event after event but that keeps the story interesting so i hope nobody is bothered by that. stay gold!
