girl next door

chapter 7

a blue mustang pulled up in front of us and jeremy and his friend tyler got out of the car and walked over to us with three guys i didn't know trailing behind him.  harry and i got out of the car and told arizona to stay in the car with ollie and willow.

"what do you want sheldon" i said angrily not wanting to fight in front of ollie.

"combs is dating my ex and i don't approve of that" he said and i rolled my eyes.

"so what? it's jens choice not yours so keep your huge nose out of our business" i said and he punched me square in the jaw.

"didn't wanna do this but you asked for it" i said and punched him making him fall to the floor. i punched him a few times real hard til he ran to his car. harry beat up tyler and we spilt the other three guys until they ran to the car and harry and i got back in mine. my nose was bleeding and i had a cut i could feel on my eyebrow but that was all and harry had a cut on his cheek. i started driving home.

"are you okay river?" ollie asked.

"fine oj" i said.

"what happened out there" willow asked.

"just a few guys causing trouble" i said and we drove home. arizona took willow inside harry's house because harry wanted to come to mine. we walked inside and ollie ran upstairs and i sat at the counter.

"let me clean your cut" harry said and i got on his back and he took me up to my bathroom and set me down on the sink. he got a q-tip and started cleaning my eyebrow as i held a tissue to my nose.

"i get to clean your cut after" i said and he just smiled and nodded.

"you okay?" i asked.

"fine why" he asked.

"because you're being very quiet" i said.

"just bothers me that you got hurt because of me" he said and i sighed.

"it isn't your fault h it's jeremeys for being a jealous prick" i said causing him to laugh.

"jens probably gonna break up with me anyway so it's fine" he said.

"why?" i asked.

"blew her off to hangout with you today" he said and i smiled slightly.

"you did that for me?" i asked

"of course i did" he said.

"my turn" i said after he finished cleaning my cut and i got a q-tip and cleaned his cheek. i then placed a bandaid on it.

"come on i didn't put a band-aid on your eyebrow" he groaned.

"oh fine you big baby take off the band-aid then" i said and he laughed and took it off.

"we should make sure ollie goes to bed" i said after we sat there in silence for a few minutes.

"yeah" he said and we walked out to see ollie eating cake and drinking chocolate milk.

"ollie come on you already had cake earlier mom will kill me if she knows i let you have two today" i said.

"too late" mom said and i turned around and sighed.

"ollie you know better" mom said and walked upstairs.

"that was weird" i said

"extremely weird" harry said.

"i'm never allowed to have two pieces a day" ollie said.

"she's just tired" dad said walking in.

"oh okay" i said.

"ollie let's go upstairs you need to go to bed" dad said.

"i'll take him dad" i said and he smiled and harry and i took ollie upstairs.

"get in your pajamas oj" i said and he closed the door while harry and i waited outside and he got a call.

"hello?" he said nervously and i was confused.

"oh uh okay goodbye jen" he said and hung up with a sad expression.

"what happened?" i asked.

"she said i beat jeremey up for no reason so she's breaking up with me" he said and i rolled my eyes and hugged him.

"i'm sorry but she is an adderson" i said and he laughed a little then ollie opened the door.

"what are you doing" ollie asked.

"none ya" i said and picked him up over my shoulder and put him on his bed.

"tell me a story" he said.

"no" i said.

"ok" harry said and i rolled my eyes and he grabbed a small picture book. he read it too him and ollie fell asleep. we quietly walked out and closed the door.

"he falls asleep so easily willow would take like 3 stories" harry said and i laughed.

"you're good with kids ya know" i said as we walked to my room.

"eh i'm okay" he said and i laughed and jumped onto my bed and laid down staring at the ceiling. i looked over and harry was staring at me.

"creepy" i said and we both laughed. we laid there in silence til my parents walked in.

"oh sorry" dad said.

"i'm not" mom said and sat on the bed and we all laughed.

"are you going to school tomorrow" mom asked moving my head onto her lap playing with my hair.

"probably" i said and she nodded.

"you better jens probably got something up her sleeve for beating up jeremey" harry said and i giggled. what the. i never giggle.

"i'll be there" i said.

"i was gonna askw hat happened to your eyebrow" dad said

"jeremey was pissed at harry for getting with jen and punched me so i punched him and it started a fight" i said.

"oh okay, get some sleep i want you to go to school the rest of the week" mom said and they walked out.

"i'm gonna go home goodnight riv" harry said climbing from my window to his.

"goodnight don't fall!" i said and he laughed and was gone. what was he doing to me? i giggled. i flippen GIGGLED.

"i cannot like my bestfriend" i thought aloud and fell asleep.
