chapter 13

it's been two days since harry kissed madison and i haven't said more than two words to him. i went to school, got in a fight, came home. like usual, but the difference was harry wasn't there and i'm gonna be honest i hated it. i decided to finally talk to him today which it's a saturday. i got dressed and walked downstairs.

"mom i'm gonna go talk to harry" i said when i got down there.

"finally" she said and i sighed.

"see ya in a bit" i said and walked out. i walked next door and walked into the house.

"hi sawyer is harry here?" i asked.

"yeah he's in his room, you sure you're ready?" he asked.

"yeah gotta do it sooner or later" i said and walked up to harrys room. i knocked on the door and it opened almost immediately.

"RIV!" he yelled and hugged me. i hesitated at first but hugged back and it felt right.

"come in" he said and i sat on his bed.

"i'm sorry i've been ignoring you" i said.

"no don't apologize it was my fault" he said back.

"harry i wanna believe you i just don't know anymore" i said sighing.

"riv i swear I'm telling the truth i'd never kiss her! she's the daughter of two cheaters!" he said.

"i know that's my point" i said and he just looked down at his shoes.

"harry i believe you okay? i just hate that it was her especially after what happened the other day because-" i was saying then he cut me off by kissing me. i didn't want to kiss him right now i was still mad but i didn't stop him. i finally pulled away after like 15 seconds.

"not complaining, but why'd you do that" i said and he laughed.

"i don't know i guess i just wanted to shut you up" he said.

"thanks combs" i said rolling my eyes.

"sorry" he said.

"whatever" i said and we sat there in awkward silence.

"can we please just be best friends again?" harry asked.

"i can't just be your friend harry i told you that" i said.

"then let me call you mine" he said which caught me completely off guard.

"what?" i asked.

"sorry that was bold, let me take you on another date" he said.

"fine" i said crossing my arms.

"you really are mad" he said. 

"yeah but it's only been two days and i'm dying so i have to talk to you" i said

"yeah i'm amazing arent i" he said and i rolled my eyes and clenched my jaw.

"no" i said and stood up going to walk out. he grabbed my hand and spun me around.

"i'm kidding, i missed you a lot" he said and i smiled.

"i missed you too" i said and we hugged and walked downstairs.

"so?" sawyer said.

"everything's fine now" i said.

"finally even i was annoyed not having you both around" he said and we laughed.

"we're gonna go to arizona's" i said.

"we are?" harry asked.

"yes" i said and walked out harry following me. we walked to arizona's and went inside to see all the juniors here.
