"Ollie go find someone else to bother!" i said trying to do my hair for school. "But I'm hungry and mom left!" Ollie said. "Then go get dad stupid!" i said. "Oh yeah!" Ollie said and ran out. I finished getting ready and went downstairs.

"Hi dad bye dad,"I said grabbing some bacon. "Hey hey hey slow down," dad said. "I need to be on time today!" I said. "ok ok be safe," he said and kissed my head as I ran out. Everyone else was already at school so I sped there and ran into class right as the bell rang.

"good timing ms curtis," the teacher said. I just nodded and sat down. "close one," Harry whispered in my ear. "i know thank ollie for that," i whispered back, he just laughed. after class we had a free period and were walking around the halls. "what's that?" i asked seeing a bunch of tables with pamphlets.

"college pamphlets," Arizona said. "oh, have you guys looked at them?" I asked. "yeah you should look at them too," Parker said. "I'm not gonna get into college my grades suck," I said. "you could I don't know try," Chase said and I punched his arm. "you could get in if you turn your grades around River," Jack said.

"I know," I said and sighed picking up a pamphlet. "Where do you guys wanna go? we said we'd go to the same college if we went," I asked. "I don't know I wanna be close to home so probably University of Tulsa," Hannah said.

"I wanna be close to home too," Lexi said. "ok I'll look at the pamphlet tonight," I said taking one. "no pressure Riv if you don't wanna go you don't have to," Harry said. "I do I just might need all of your guys help to turn my grades around," I said.

"we will do whatever it takes to have our best friend there," Hannah said. "that was cheesy Han but thanks," I said and we all laughed. "my next class is about to start I gotta go," I said and walked away.

I walked inside my house and it was quiet. I didn't like the quiet it made me feel more lonely than usual. I grabbed a coke from the fridge and sat down. I turned on the tv and per usual it was on mickey. I watched it for about twenty minutes until dad walked in. "hey kiddo," he said and sat next to me.

"hi dad," I said. "how was school?" he asked. "ok, the college pamphlets were out today," I said. "do you wanna go?" he asked. "I don't know, everyone wants me to go and I don't know what to tell them," I said. "if you work on your grades you could," he said.

"i know that's what everyone's saying," I said sighing. "nobody is pressuring you into it, especially not mom and i because we didn't go," He said. "I know I'm just not sure what to do," I said.

"well you don't have decide now, but I know someone's waiting for you outside," he said. "thanks dad," I said and ran outside to see Harry with flowers. "better not be dandelions combs," I joked. "nope just roses," he said and kissed my cheek handing them to me.

"thank you," I said smiling. "I wanna take you somewhere," he said. I handed him the keys to my car and we both hopped in. We drove somewhere i didn't recognize. We got out of the car and went into a little shop. Harry wouldn't tell me what we were doing. We walked outside to the side of the mountain and sat down with a pen and a big paper.

"what should we write?" Harry asked. "You decide you're better at this than I am," I said. "it's cheesy but, RC + HC?" he asked. "Sure, people will probably think we're married," I said laughing. He smiled and handed me the pen. I wrote what he said and we sent the lantern off. He wrapped his arms around me and I leaned into his chest.

"don't stress about college ok? we'll all be ok no matter what you do," he said. "I know, I wanna go I think," I said. "really?" he asked and I nodded. "I just gotta put a lot of work into it," I said. "I'll be here to help the whole way there ok?" he said. I nodded and looked up at him. He looked down and kissed me.

"we should get home," He said. "ok," I said sighing and we drove home. I walked inside and saw Mom and Ollie making dinner. "Need any help?" I asked. "sure can you grab the parmesan out of the fridge," mom said. I nodded and grabbed it then handed it to her.

"dad told me about the college pamphlets, did you want me to look at them with you?" she asked. "maybe you and dad both could?" i asked and she nodded. after dinner we sat down on the couch and looked through them and the university looked really nice. I hope I can turn my grades around enough that I can get it.
