chapter 20- always ill care

I woke up and Two-Bit was hovering over me. "AH SHE ISN'T DEAD!" He yelled and I jumped accidentally head butting him. "Geez Uncle Two-Bit why'd you have to yell right in my face!"I said and heard laughs behind us.

"Shut up," I said seeing Harry and Arizona. I walked over and grabbed a roll off the table. "Those are hard now," Arizona said and I took a bite anyway. "so?" I asked with food in my mouth.

"You're so weird" Harry said and hugged me from behind. "Thank you," I said. Harry started tickling me and we were all laughing because I was getting so mad when Mom and Dad walked in looking happy but disappointed.

"is bad news coming my way?" I asked after Harry put me down. "How'd you know?" Mom asked. "you guys have the please don't hate us look on," I said.

"That's a thing?" Mom asked and I nodded. "Come on spit it out," I said. "Dad got a really good job offer from a car dealership," Mom said. "why is that bad?" I asked.

"It's, it's in London," Dad said and my heart fell. "L-london?" I asked and they nodded. "are you taking it?" I asked. "Mom and I talked about it and we think I should," He said.

I looked at Harry and he was as shocked as me. "We don't wanna leave, this has always been our home, but we need to go out of our comfort zones Riv," Mom said.

"I-I have to go," I said and ran out of my house and to Dallys house. "Dally?!" I yelled and he walked out. "Hey kid what's up?" He asked. "did mom tell you?" I asked and his expression softened.

"Yeah she told me," He said "and you're letting her?" I asked. "I might've been bossy when we were kids but, I can't stop her from doing what she wants she's as stubborn as me," he said.

"but then I have to leave everyone," I said and sat down on the couch. "I know, but we're family we can get through it," He said. "I know," I said as he sat next to me.

"River, you're as strong as both of your parents you'll be ok," He said. "Thanks Dally," I said. "Now go back home and give your parents a hug because they don't wanna go either," He said and I nodded and hugged him then walked back home.

"Riv bring the bags down we have to load the truck!" Mom yelled. I sighed and walked downstairs. All of the juniors were standing there. All of us crying.

I walked over and took Parker Jack and Lexi aside first. "You know Lex, I'm not gonna be very smart without you," I said. "You'll be alright, I'm not gonna have any fun without you," She said. "You'll be alright," I said and hugged her.

"Parker Jack, take care of her she's fragile," I said and they laughed and wiped away there tears. "I'm gonna miss you," Parker said. "I'll miss you all so much," I said and hugged them both.

I then pulled Hannah Arizona and Chase aside. "I'm not good at this," Hannah said. "Me either," I replied. "promise this isn't gonna break us?" I asked. "Promise," They all three said. I hugged all three of them and Chase kissed my head. I walked over and grabbed Harry's hand and took him upstairs to my room.

"You kissed me in here to shut me up," I said and he smiled as a tear fell from his eye. I walked over to him and hugged him tight. I pulled away and grabbed his hands.

"I don't know how to say goodbye" I said. "then dont," He said and I tilted my head in confusion. "saying goodbye means we won't see each other again Riv," He said.

"then i'll see you later," I said and he laughed. I leaned against the door and looked around the room. He walked over and put his hands on my cheek. "River I love you," he said and I smiled.

"Harry, I love you," I said and he smiled too. He leaned down and kissed me like it was the last time. He pulled away and leaned his forehead on mine.

"I'm not gonna let us fall apart," I said. "But if you're leaving," he said. "then we should take a break," I finished. "you're right, but, I will wait for you," he said. "That's what they all say," I said and kissed him one more time then hugged him tight.

After I said my goodbyes to everyone I was the last one in the house. I looked around the empty kitchen and living room and sighed when I heard someone walk in behind me.

"couldn't wait to see me off huh?" I said and turned around and saw Jeremy leaning against the wall. "Guess I could say goodbye after you saved my life," He said.

"Yeah I'm pretty awesome I guess," I said. "You know Curtis, I always wanted what you had," He said. "Meaning?" I asked. "Your friends, your family, just your life was so good and mine was well fake," He said.

"then make it better now," I said. "how?" he asked. "Make amends with the people you've hurt," I said. "Starting with you," he said. "I'm sorry," he said. "That was cheesy, but I forgive you Sheldon," I said. He walked over and held his hand out for a handshake.

"We've known each other long enough," I said and hugged him. "Goodbye Curtis," He said. "Goodbye Sheldon," I said and he walked out.

"Goodbye house," I said and ran to the car.

~ 6 years later

I can't believe it. I'm back in Tulsa after a long 6 years. I lost Harry, he started dating Jen again after I left but he said he couldn't live without me and that's why then stopped writing to me.

The only one I kept in touch with consistently was surprisingly Chase. And Dally of course but out of the juniors. God i've missed this place so much.

We moved back to Tulsa because Mom wanted Ollie to have his high school years here with Willow. He's 14 now and he and Willow are still best friends.

Mom and Rachel's designer store opened up in London when we moved there. Mom ran the London branch, Rachel ran the Oklahoma branch. Now one of Moms colleagues runs the London branch.

But now, we're back.

I walked into the store and walked up and down the isles until I found the matches. Mom told me she need matches? no clue why though. I grabbed a pack and looked up to see him.

I knew who it was the second I saw him.

"Harry," I said. "River," He said and hugged me tight. Neither of us ever wanting to let go.

THATS A WRAP!!! I'm gonna let y'all imagine what happened after they see eachother again but they do end up together just know that. I hope you guys enjoyed the story because I really enjoyed writing it. I love y'all! stay gold!
