We started to set up a little campsite but I had to first get back into the Bounty to treat my cut. I went inside the infirmary and took off part of my gi so I can see my wound. I cleaned the wound and patched it up. I sighed, putting my gi back on, and looked into the mirror on the wall. " Don't worry Lloyd, I'm gonna save you" I reached into my gi, pulling out a picture that I had hidden in it. It was a picture of me and Lloyd at an arcade back when Ninjago City was filled with technology. Before the Overlord came back.

I sighed and took out another I had in my gi. This one was one we took at the amusement park when we were kids. When Lloyd cheated in a game just to get me my bat plushie. I really hope my plushie isn't damaged. I put the pictures away and went outside to help set up the camp.

The night fell and we got a fire going and sat on logs. Wu asked if we wanted to hear a ghost story. " If it means saving Lloyd, tell us please." I gave a weak smile to Sensei. "Morro may have been my first pupil, but he was also my greatest regret."

" Before he was a cursed spirit, it wasn't I who found him...but he who found me. My brother had just gone off to train under Master Chen, which gave me time to attempt my hand at teaching. Morro was the perfect student. He did everything that was ever asked of him."

Two kids and an adult were digging in the monastery's trashcans but two ran off when Wu opened the door. The three were stuck in the can, too short to get out without knocking over the whole can. Wu felt pity for the boy and gave him a plate of food. The young child took it and sat on a rock to eat. He was scared but grateful the Wu took pity on him. The child looked back and flash Wu a quick thankful smile.

Wu took in the child and started to train him. Though the child was skinny, puny, and malnourished, he quickly became strong. The child, Morro was faster and stronger than any of Wu's other students that he brought it. He fought the other by himself but when he was pushed down, Wu told him to get up, try again. And Morro did just that, just to make Wu proud of him. Wu was proud of his great student, so he gifted him a kite for the boy to play with.

" I had shown him things he had never seen. And he showed me a few things too. He had a power over the wind I had never seen. He was a descendant of an Elemental Master. It was then I thought I had found the one. Perhaps he would wear green."

" Whoa! Excuse me, you thought that this Morro was going to be the Green Ninja!?" I interpreted Wu's story. The wind shifted and the fire became bigger. "Uh, did that just happen? Maybe I don't like ghost stories." Cole got scared. " What happened next, Sensei?" Zane asked. "After I told him he could be the Green Ninja, there was a hunger unmatched."

" Get up. Get up!" Morro told another student after he easily defeated them. " Enough." Wu told the now teenager with hair blacker than night. " But Sensei, I'm gonna be the Green Ninjago. I need greater tests!" Morro protested. " I said enough!" Wu walked away as Morro stood there angry

"There was an arrogance in him. I feared I had made a terrible mistake. But it wasn't for me to decide. It was destiny. When the Golden Weapons didn't respond like they did for Lloyd later, I knew Morro wouldn't become the chosen one."

Morro looked at the weapons around him as saw nothing happening. Wu stared at them too, he knew Morro was not destined to be the Green Savior. " I'll train more, learn more lessons!" Morro pleaded. " I'm sorry, destiny has spoken." Wu tried to tell the Morro, but he wouldn't listen. "Then I refuse to listen! I am the Green Ninja! You made me believe!" Morro shouted, angry at his Sensei as he ran out of the room.

He was lead to believe he was special. Someone that was worth it. He wasn't just some poor child you look at with pity or some dirty kid you back away from. No, he was the Green Ninja. Someone important that everyone would love.

"He became obsessed to prove me wrong. To prove destiny wrong. He became reckless. He thought he was invincible."

Morro did dangerous things just to try and convince Wu that he was the Green Ninja. He even disturbed a Grundle which could of easily killed him. "You see, Sensei? It was destiny for you to save me. I can still be the Green Ninja." Morro said after Wu saved him. Wu shook his head and Morro crossed his arms.

"I knew right there and then I could not teach those who would not listen. He told me he would find my father's tomb to prove he was worthy. I told him it could not be found. My father had left no message. I left the gate open in hopes he'd return, but he never came back."

Morro took his small amount of belongings with him as he left the monastery. His goal was to prove his Sensei wrong and that he was the Green Ninja. " Morro, my father left no message, you will never find the tomb. Please Morro, stay." Wu tried to beg for his student to stay. He loved Morro like a son. He found Morro when he was just a child, raised him through his teenage years, and now walked he leave. " I'll be back Sensei, back when I found the First Spinjitzu Masters tomb and proved to you that I am the Green Ninja!" Morro looked back at him, " Goodbye, Sensei." Morro left the Monastery only to never return.

" I am saddened he was banished to the Cured Realm. But what worries me more is that he escaped, and for what reason? To save Lloyd and return your powers, you must find the tomb before he does. Or else."

" Or else what?" Jay asked. " Unspeakable power will curse us all." Wu answered. " Heheh. Just another day in Ninjago, am I right?" Jay laughed nervously. " Jay, this is different. Lloyd is in danger because of that-" I insulted Morro in the Stone Warrior language so no one understood me. " But how can we compete against the Green Ninja? He's more powerful than all five of us combined." Cole mentioned.

" That was before we lost our powers," Zane added. "But it's like Sensei said. Our real power doesn't come from our hands, it comes from inside here." Kai tapped his chest. " This is Lloyd we're talking about. This is one mission we cannot fail." " Exactly Kai. We will get Greenie back. We won't stop fighting until then." I smile and rub my arm. Nya put a hand on my shoulder. I miss Lloyd.
