Misako wasn't surprised to hear I was indeed the Great Granddaughter of The Overlord. But she was a little surprised that I was now crowned a princess to the Stone Warriors.  Wu was very surprised to hear both. He never suspected that I was related to him. Sure my power was connected, but hey there is Clouse with Dark Magic which is similar enough.

The Stone Warriors have been nothing but friendly to us thankfully. They did a full 180 from how they used to act. I guess with me in charge, they act differently. Zane has even tried to teach some of them how to speak English which surprisingly was working. Their sentences are getting clearer and clearer.

I had walked away from everyone else to sit on the edge of the beach. I wanted a bit of quiet time to read Grandma Yin's journal. Waves crashed into the sand before retreating back into the sea. The smell of the ocean has calming, I hope it washes away the smell of smoke on me from the fire. I sat on the scratchy but soft sand which was now cool thanks to the absence of the sun. The moon reflecting the sun's glows to light up the island.

" Lovely isn't it." I yelp and look around to see who spoke. " Down here." I got confused and looked down at the sand where a shadow of a dragon laid. " Hello? Who are you?" The shadow laughed, " Who else would be here aside from the Stone Warriors?" I sighed. " Hi Overlord." " Smart girl." The Overlord complimented. " How are you not dead? Zane killed you."

" I cannot die." The Overlord stated vaguely. " Why not?" I raised a brow, shutting the journal. " There must always be a balance of evil and good. The darkness and light. That means I cannot be killed. Though I am forced to be a shadow, I still live." I looked into the sea. " Ok but that means you can't do anything, right?" " Sadly, you are correct."

I looked at the shadow next to me then back at sea. " What do you want Overlord." " Seeing how you now have Yin's journal, that's Grandpa Overlord." " Oh fuck no. I will never EVER call you grandpa, nor family." I cross my arms, a breeze and chilled air nipped at my arms. " You can't run from who is your DNA (Y/n)." The Overlord's shadow came out of the sand and sat next to me, his wing ghosting over me.

" Whether you like it or not, I am family. You are my Granddaughter, though generations later, still my Granddaughter." The Overlord looked at me. " You have those thoughts still, don't you?" " How do you know about them?" I looked at him. " Everyone has them. To ease your mind a bit, over time they do go away unless you aren't in a good headspace. You might have already experienced that."

I thought about how when I was super happy, not one happy thought came in. When Morro was possessing Lloyd, all I could think about was saving him. " So if I'm focused on something or happy, I won't have those thoughts?" The Overlord shook his head. " No. You won't. And once you're an adult, it doesn't matter what emotion you have, they will be gone. Unless that emotion is anger of course."

" Why are you telling me this?" I was getting suspicious of him. " Can't I tell my Granddaughter things she might need to know." " You wanted me dead before." " Well that was when I was trying to take over Ninjago. But I can't do that as a shadow now." The Overlord looked at his shadowy claws.

" Is there anything else I should know then?" I ask the dragon that has tried to take over NInjago at least three times. " You're not fully human. You're part dragon." " Really? Never would have guessed." I sassed. " Sassy girl." The Overlord chuckled. I looked at my Grandmother's journal, " Why did you even force Grandma Yin into marriage when to have a child? You gross bitch."

" Because I thought if a child held darkness, I could use it to cross over into Ninjago. But of course, it wasn't enough nor was that even how you do it so I couldn't." The Overlord explained vaguely. " You should have seen what my daughter looked like." He laughed, " I'm glad my appearance genes got washed away. My daughter had scales that ripped in random parts of her skin. Her skin tinted purple in some areas. I'm surprised she even found a lover."

" Maybe that's because people can love someone based on their personality, not appearance." I scoff.  " I guess you mortals are like that." The Overlord tried to push the sand but of course, it didn't move. " Also can you get your wing off me," I mumbled but the Overlord didn't. " Overlord." Nothing. I sigh, " Grandpa Overlord, get your wing off me." Finally, he moved it.

I stand up. " Now if you excuse me, I'm going back to my friends." I turn away and leave, Grandma Yin's journal in my arms. " Don't expect this to be the last you see me, (Y/n)." The Overlord disappeared into the night. I sped walked back to the others. I smiled when I saw the glow of the fire. I sat back down on a log and sighed. " You ok babe?" Lloyd asked, sliding over to me.

" Yeah yeah, I'm fine. Just had a run-in with my great Grandpa but that's ok." I sighed and look at the fire. " Oh ok.... Wait what-" " Yup. The Overlord is still alive. He is just a shadow but still." " But I thought Zane killed him!" Lloyd whisper shouted. " I thought that too! But apparently, he can't be killed. He needs to live to keep a balance or something." I pick at my nail. " Let's just talk about something else." I sigh.

" Oh, alright. Uh, the Stone Warriors are learning pretty fast. They know more words but they still make hard-to-understand sentences." Lloyd informed me. " It's an improvement at least." I look over at Zane still teaching a few warriors. I smile before looked back at the fire. " Who could have guessed I'm basically a princess to these guys. I feel kind of bad that we're gonna have to learn and they will be left behind." " What if we brought them back?"

I look at Lloyd. " What do you mean?" " What if we brought them all to Ninjago. They could help people like with heavy lifting, they could protect people if we couldn't for some reason, they could do a lot of things. Plus, I think they would like to stay with their princess." Lloyd snickered. " That, actually seems like a good idea. They are really strong, impossible to take down, and they have infinite stamina. Perfect for heavy lifting jobs. Let's ask Sensei first though.
