POV change

When graduation rolled around Raph had finally got news back from th3 school and he had got a scholarship, so I told him he could move into my apartment I'd be renting while at school and he nodded perfectly fine with it. He had to choose his classes for college after graduation since they got back to him so late, but he didn't mind.

That summer was spent moving everyone to their apartments or dorms who were going to college as well as deep cleaning the lair for Splinter so he didn't have to once most of us were gone. The summer seemd to fly by so fast with the boys always being to busy to be around much plus they were trying to find jobs to help pay for college. Luckily most of them found a job as did my friends, but no one wanted to hire Raph and as terrible as it sounds I didn't really blame them, he had an anger that got him fired easily from his first two jobs and he also tried his best to be gentle in his third job, but he was like a bull in a china shop and as much as you'd think him being a ninja would help, it didn't. He destroyed alot of things and caused six hundred dollars worth of damage at that job. Poor people that owned that shop didn't blame Raph though and just made him pay two hundred dollars worth of damage.

I contemplated seeing if he'd want to work where I do, but ran everything through my mind and figured it wouldn't be the best idea unless we had him mainly work in the back doing dishes and cutting veggies for the pizzas. I had a million ideas for him, but would go through all the situations that might happen and eventually narrowed it down to a small amount of jobs that might work for him.

"Hey Raph." He walked around the corner "yeah?" I looked over at him "we should go job hunting for you. I have a few ideas in mind." He raised a brow "oh really? What are your ideas?" I smiled "well if you must ask" I looked down at my paper "I narrowed it down to jobs I think you'd be good at. One of them being a person who feeds and cares for the rescue animals in shelters." He blushed and looked away from me "no I don't think-" I sighed "Raph I know you don't like admitting it, but you're amazing with animals. All animals love you." He chuckled "not all animals." I looked at him confused "what do you mean?" He shook his head "nothing...Its just. I think its cause I know they could kill me or something like that, but horses have never liked me." I smiled "its cause they can sense all your emotions. Just like Chompy or Spike before he became Slash. They just know and they'll play on it." He shook his head before looking at me and smiling "we might as well get this done and over with."

We spent a few hours out and about then once we got back to our apartment we both huffed as we plopped on the coutch. "Today felt tiring." He nodded "yeah." I yawned "can I take a nap?" I laid down, so my head was in his lap "if you want too, but you might be up most the night." I nodded "good point, but I'm tired and haven't been able to sleep lately, so imma take a nap." "Right there?" I could hear the smirk in his voice "yeah imma take a nap right here." I made a cringy baby voice then got comfortable as he rubbed my back and I slowly fell asleep. I woke up about an hour later and Raph was still there allowing me to use his legs as a pillow, so I looked up at him as he watched something on the TV not thinking that he could feel me looking at him as I studied his facial features "have a nice nap?" I jumped a little making him look down at me "yeah." He chuckled once he seen my bright red face "scare ya or something?" I sighed as I sat up "maybe just a little."

He seemed to be thinking about something and looked away from me, so I took my usual approach and headed to the kitchen for a snack. "You want anything from in here?" When he didn't answer I picked up my snack of choice and wandered over to where the kitchen and living room met "Raph?" He quickly turned his head towards me with a slight blush on his cheeks "y-yeah? What do you need?" I held up my snack "do you want a snack?" He shook his head "no I'm good." I walked in and sat down next to him as I ate what I picked out, but Raph had caught on to what I was doing "ok so I was thinking about me and you." I smiled at him "what about us?" He sighed "I want to do something different in the relationship." I raised a brow at him "like what?" He blushed "like uh..." i smirked "do you want to have sex?" He groaned "no-well yes, but I also want to shower together just so its one step we covered already." I looked away from him and he sighed "I was just thinking about how I could approach you about it without making you feel uncomfortable or anything." I gave a warm smile "thanks for thinking about me, but thats all you ever seem to do. Maybe you should focus on you and your needs/wants a little more." He shook his head "no I'm not the import-" "dont you dare finish that sentence mister." He looked away from me "I have to go shower for work tomorrow and so do you mister." I got up and made it to my room before he caught on to what I was hinting towards.

To be honest I had been thinking about the same thing for the past few weeks, but I could never work up the courage to ask him about it because I've been hiding something from him that he was bound to find out about. I slipped my shirt off and looked at myself in the mirror before sighing and walking into the bathroom in the hallway with my pajamas. I automatically closed the door and started the water before undressing the rest of the way and looking down at my body, but I about came out if my skin when there was a knick at the door, so I cracked the door and poked my head out.

"Yes?" He scratched the back of his neck "I'm going to head out with Casey for a little while to go bash some heads. That ok?" I giggled "you dont need to ask if it is. You already know I'm fine with it...just be careful please. I dont want Casey to call me telling me that you got kidnapped or something ok?" He nodded then leaned down and pecked my lips before leaving, but stopped at the end of the hallway "I'll see you in a few hours. I also have patrol with my brothers." I nodded "ok. Love you bye." He chuckled as I shut the door "love you too."
