POV change 

We all sat around the tree quietly while waiting for me to break the news and once I worked up the courage to I was scared of all their reactions.

"I know Christmas is two days away, so I want to tell you guys this before then." I took a breath in and let it out fairly slow "in March I'm going to be headed to Jackson Hole Wyoming to compete in the hill climbs there." Mikey seemed confused "is that where you have to climb a muddy hill?" I chuckled "no Mikey its where you climb it on a snowmobile because there is at least two feet of snow on the ground." His eyes got wide "really? That must be cold." I smiled "it is, but I used to live there, well not Jackson Hole because I hate the place, but there in Wyoming and I'm used to the cold, so it doesn't bother me much." Raph didnt really know how to react and just sat there then looked up "isnt it like a race or something?" I nodded "yes and it can be dangerous...its what killed my mom." He met my eyes and stood up quickly "then why are you going to do it?" I looked away from him "because I just want to ok? I've trained way to many years to let it all go to waste just because it can be dangerous." I looked at him "It's no different then you and your ninjitsu. It can be dangerous and kill someone, but you dont see anyone complaining about it do you?" He looked away from me knowing I had a point "well at least take someone with you." I sighed and crossed my arms as Raph sat down again "I planned on it." Everything was silent and the tension in the room could've been cut with a knife "I just want someone to come with me who hasn't been there before." My friends all looked away knowing they were out of the picture since we all grew up there.

"We'll talk more about it later. For now we have a song we need to sing." I stood up and headed for my room with my friends close behind me "you handled him like a pro." I gave a small laugh "well I live with him, so what do you expect." I shut my door behind us "who...who are you going to take with you?" I shrugged "I dont know yet. I mean I know Leo would be a little interested in it, but not nearly as much as Mjkey would be. The only thing with Mikey is he can only stay focused for so long before he finds something thats more interesting than what he was originally focused on. Plus he gets bored easy and would probably end up getting kicked out because he attempted started a snowball fight with someone." They all laughed "and Donnie well. He would enjoy it, but only because of all the engines and parts there are to them. He wouldn't be interested in the actual racing portion."

They all gave me a look knowing what was next.

"You were thinking about taking Raph weren't you?" I nodded and looked away embarrassed "w-well yeah. I mean he'd be interested in everything really. What engine is in them to make them go so fast, what fuel to use, the parts to them, and the actual racing. I mean he'd probably even like the food and drinks there." They were all smiling at me "you were daydreaming about it earlier today weren't you?" I nodded and smiled sheepishly "girl you're in deep this time." I didnt say anything and only walked over to the computer to pick the song we were going to sing "dont ignore me you know its true." I giggled "just because I dont reply doesn't mean I'm ignoring you." Kit scoffed "yeah and just because I'm not punching someone doesn't mean I don't want to." The others laughed and I rolled my eyes only to have her slap my shoulder and laugh as I looked at her shocked before I started laughing.

Once the song was over I sat down on my bed and huffed "I need to go talk to Leo, but don't want to get up now." They all laughed "you're so lazy sometimes Y/n." I laughed "I know, but you guys still love me." I propped myself up with my elbows as they started walking out "where you guys going?" Genie stopped "to get Leo for you and yes you're right we do love you even if you are lazy sometimes." She walked out and a few seconds later Leo walked in.

"What did you need to talk to me about?" I sat up completely "I wanted to see if it was ok that I took Raph with me in March." He raised a brow "you sure you want to take him?" I nodded "yeah. And besides I think you could use a break from him for a while." He shifted his weight and had his thinking face on "I mean if thats what you want to do. I'm sure we could manage without him for a little while." He smiled "you can take Raph." I got up and hugged him "thank you. I'm sure he'll enjoy it." He smirked when I moved away from him "just dont let him enjoy it to much." He winked at me and it took me a moment to catch on to what he was meaning, but once I did he was out the door, so I picked up one of my 'lucky' rocks and threw it at him nailing him directly in the head and knocking him off balance.

"You throw hard." I walked over to pick up my rock and help Leo up "I threw that soft you pussy." I heard Raph start laughing from the other room "keep laughing and your next, but it'll be with a cockroach." Instant silence as I helped Leo to his feet then I heard Mikey giggle and the chase was on.
