Chapter 17- A cure?

He can't do it anymore. His friends are gone. No one knows if they are going to attack the squad again..They don't even know if the others are still alive. He hates himself for letting them down, for being a bad leader and leading them to their own death. Bakugou Katsuki thought he will save the world and bring back what the good people once had. A big fat lie he says now. 

"okay..I think if we add this to the green chemical-" - a little explosion shut Kirishima's mouth. 

"You still trying kid.?"- Jirou looked at him with worrying face. 

"Yeah..I..i will find a way to bring them back..trust me"- mumbled Eijirou cleaning the ashes from his face. 

"Do any of you think they are still alive" -the whole hall went silent after Dabi's question. He hasn't been talking to them since Hawks went missing. Just sitting aside thinking, sometimes dry crying in night when no one could hear him."Well.?" 

"I don't know..i am not sure.."- Denki whispered. "It's been to long and not even a sigh.." 

"Yeah but that doesn't mean they are dead!!" - Kiri shouted. 

"The shark dude's right. We can't be sure."- Kota said crossing his arms. 

"Do you think you will be able to do the cure soon?"- Kyoka tapped Eijirou's shoulder. "If the nasty zombies come back..and we have this..we may be able to find the others.." 

"I know..and I am trying..i just need more time." - mumbled the black haired boy. 

"Not to push you..but we don't have all the time in the universe..so try harder." - Dabi said making the boy frown. Jirou glared at him. 

"You don't know how hard it is!" 

"I don't fucking care!? He needs to be done soon or we all are dead!?"- shouted the black haired man. 

Kaminari opened his mouth to speak but quickly closed it when he saw his blonde friend walking in the cave , holding his right shoulder with blood dripping between his fingers.

"Bakugou!?"- the purple haired girl gasped rushing to him. "What the hell happened?!" - she helped him walk to the fire and set him down on the leather carefully. Kirishima came with bandages , Kota with clean water."I..i fought..so many..They were..guarding..something.."- Katsuki mumbled. 

"Remove your hand!!"- shouted Denki panicking.The blonde man removed it revealing a nasty deep bite with blood dripping down his body.His friends quickly stepped away in fear. 

 "What the actual fuck.."-mumbled Dabi staring at his rival. 

 "I..i wasn't fast..enough.."-mumbled Bakugou. 

 "No..no this can't be happening!?" - Kyoka shouted. 

 "Quick let's clean the wound!! Be careful not to get bitten too!" - Eijirou shouted pouring the water onto the bite. 

 "What are you doing?! It's dangerous!"- shouted Denki. 

 "We have 24 hours before he turns into a freak. The wound must not get infected..I will try to make an antidote as fast as I can.."- mumbled the black haired boy letting the others take care of the wound and standing up back to his little laboratory.

The blonde red eyed man groaned in pain as the wound was cleaning by his friends.

 "Ah fuck I am sorry! It's going to be okay!"- Kaminari said trying to keep his voice down.

 "Shit..just a little more okay? I know it hurts..just a little.."-mumbled Jirou pressing a white cloth on the wound. 

"Fucking hell?!"-yelled Bakugou in pain. 

"Kirishima-" 

"Pass me the red liquid"- said the black haired boy to Kota.The smaller boy did what he was told to. Eijirou mixed the black liquid with the red one-

He got explosion in his face.. 

 "Woah...."- sigh Kota looking at Kiri. 

 "Huh..? What's..what's wrong..? Why are you looking at me like that!?"- Eijirou said as he was on the ground. 

 "I-I uh- just finish the cure!! I will tell you later"- said the smaller boy.

 "O-okay.?"- Kiri rushed back to his place and started working again. 

 While the others were busy trying to keep Bakugou sane , the youngest boys were working on the antidote and Dabi , well he was there if they needed him. 

 The whole night after the accident..Bakugou was groaning in pain,the biten place was becoming dark purple and he was losing his mind..Jirou and Kaminari barely slept because of the worrying and Kirishima didn't look away from his working table.

"I think..I am done.."-mumbled Eijirou holding the tube with orange liquid in his hand. 

 "Do you think it will work..?"- Kota questioned helping the older boy stay still. 

 "I hope it does.."- Kiri said walking to the others. 

 "What the fuck happened with your ha-Are you ready?!"- Denki jumped off his place. 

 Kirishima nodded and went to his leader. He knees and takes a closer look at the wound. 

 "What the fuck are you waiting for?!"-shouted Katsuki catching Eijirou off guard and making him jump a little. 

 "I just..I.."- Kiri stuttered. He took the injection that he held in his pocket and took the liquid from the tube with it. "This..may hurt okay.?" 

 "Just do it Kiri.."-mumbled Jirou holding his shoulder. 

 Eijirou injected it right into the wound. Bakugou's body shook before it relaxed and the purple place become more less and less visible. The young male smiled. 

 "Does this mean..it works.?"- Kaminari asked breaking the silent. 

 "Yeah..yes.."-mumbled Kiri happily.

"At least we still have a genius left"- Dabi said looking at Kirishima.

 "Thank you"-Kyoka said patting his shoulder. 

 "Yo the angry bitch is asleep?"- Kota said waving a hand in front of Bakugou's face. 

 "Oh yeah..that's uh..effect that it leaves.."- Kiri yawned. "..on the victim.."-he mumbled before fainted into Jirou's lap. 

 "Wow-"- Denki looked at him. 

 "He must be exhausted.."-mumbled Dabi from behind. 

 "No shit , he worked all night on this.."-Kota said. 

 "I just want to ask..when did he dye his hair?-"-the purple haired woman asked stroking Eijirou's hair softly. 

 "YES!! What exactly happened!??"- the yellow haired man shouted. 

 "Well he uh was trying some things- and an explosion made it red-"- Kota said laughing a bit. 

 "Interesting.."-Kyo mumbled. 

 "Indeed.." - Dabi said. "But the best thing is that we finally have a cure huh?"- he smirked. 

 "Oh god.."-mumbled Jirou. 

 "WE HAVE IT!!"-shouted Denki.
