It was officially Tuesday and today was the day that Charlie met the boys. She was still at her shift in Pots, serving customers this way and that. It was a busy morning today, with most customers coming in for a takeaway coffee for work. Once it got to around one, it started to quiet down and there was only one or two customers coming in.

At around one fifty-five, Charlie served her last few customers before cleaning her surfaces and getting ready for her shift to end. At two, her work friend Chris would take over.

She took off her apron and headed into the kitchen. Chris was there with a bright pink face, extremely out of breath.

"Sorry I'm late," he yelped, trying to catch some air.

"Technically," she checked her watch, it read 2:00 PM, "you are just on time."

"Amazing," he sighed chucking on his apron, "afternoon, doll. How're you?"

He headed over to her, giving her a quick high five. They headed back out behind the counter, Chris making small talk with his work bestie.

"I'm good, staying behind for a bit. I'm meeting my potential new roommates," she grinned giddily and Chris smiled at her enthusiasm.

"That's amazing, Charls. I'm sure they'll love you. And I'm great, thanks. Speaking of roomies, I'm moving in with Bailey this week," he too, explained giddily.

Charlie's jaw dropped at his statement, "oh-em-gee! I'm so happy for you. I bet you can't wait to get out of your parent's house!"

He nods rapidly, "Oh heck yeah. I love Mom and Dad to bits but gosh they're annoying. I can't wait to grow up a bit." Charlie laughed at the boy and the two carried on conversing in between customers for the next hour before Charlie heard the church bells ring and realised the boys would be here soon.

She almost squealed as she headed for an empty booth. She watched the door, waiting for the four boys to walk in. It got to around quarter past when she was about to leave, thinking they were about to leave but doorbell rang and in they rushed frantically, eyes searching around the place.

They headed for the counter, ordering coffees whilst asking Chris if there was a Charlie about. Chris pointed straight at the girl and they all turned around.

Calum spat his coffee out as soon as he saw her, "you're a girl?!"

Luke whacked the boy across the back of the head before approaching a slightly calmer approach, "hi Charlie."

She gave a shy wave before pointing at the booth she was just sitting in. Luke nodded immediately, dragging the boys to it and pushing them to sit down.

"So... you're a girl?" Calum asked again, still very taken aback.

"Do I look like a boy?" She giggled, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. Luke stared in awe, she was gorgeous.

"Definitely not," Ash said, he was also mesmerised by her looks. The four boys flat out stared at her, admiring her. She was a wee bit uncomfortable.

"Are you going to stare at me all day long or do we have things to discuss?" She teased, loving the way they get all flustered. Luke loved the way she was so shy five minutes ago and now she was winding him and his friends up.

"Right, yeah that. Well, I think you're a perfect candidate, come live with us now," Mikey stated bluntly, earning a scold from the other three.

Luke, once again, put it in a more calm way, "he's right. We read your bio and you're literally the perfect person. Despite the fact that we thought that you were a boy before this. I mean, you like the same music as us, the same food, you even like soccer. Are you any good?"

"Of course I'm good. I wouldn't mention it if I run around like a headless chicken with the ball now, would I?" She laughed and Luke had to take a quick breather. She was angelic.

"Right, no, of course not." He couldn't help but stare at her even more, he was quite literally taken aback by her beauty. She had small freckles dotting her face and pale pink lips. Her eyes were a pretty hazel colour and he could even see spots of green. He felt like a creep.

"I'm just teasing you, don't go all weird on me." She giggled at him, causing him to give her a wide smile.

He shook his head, "no weird here, sweetheart." Sweetheart?! He scolded himself whilst shoving his head into his hands. Fuck me, he thought.

Michael patted his poor friend on the back before carrying on questioning the girl. "Seriously when can you move in? We haven't clicked with anyone as we have with you today. You're a nice girl AND you like soccer. What a bonus!"

Deciding to be bold, she smiled at the four of them and leaned her head in her hands. "So when do I move in, boys?"

For all she knows, the boys could be creeps. For all they know, she could be a raging serial killer. But that currently didn't matter as Charlie stood outside the apartment door with her bags in hand. She knocked once and Luke answered the door, merely in black sweats.

"Hi," he grinned shyly, "do you want any help with your bags?"

She nodded eagerly, "if you don't mind, Luke."

"Of course not." He grabbed her bags and led her into the apartment. "Welcome to the humble abode, sweetheart." He said it before he could stop himself and he mentally facepalmed himself.

"Thank you," she smiled at him sweetly and he couldn't help but smile back. She was truly and utterly gorgeous. He'd never seen a girl quite like her before.

"Right, so, follow me," he coughed and cleared his throat, hoping she wouldn't notice how distracted she just made him. He hasn't even known her for a week and she's already made quite the impression on him and the boys.

"This is your room," he opened the door and led her in. "I hope you don't mind the dark colours, again, we thought you were going to be a boy. Wait, that came out wrong, we don't mind that you're a girl, in fact we could use one- WAIT, that sounds even worse, oh my gosh, I'm so-"

"Luke," she put her hand on his arm and gave him a reassuring squeeze, "it's okay. It's perfect." She emphasised the word, knowing he needed that extra oomph to feel comfortable.

"Okay," he breathed out, trying to calm himself down. He was never usually this flustered around girls. She was mesmerising him.

"I'm going to unpack. I'll see you later? I'll make you all food as thanks."

"You going to poison us?" He teased, nudging her shoulder.

"Of course," she said so calmly that he almost believed her but they laughed it off as they walked to her room.
