a/n: the word soccer makes me cringe. i apologise this is so bad
"Wakey wakey, Lu," the girl spoke calmly as she shook the blonde's body. He slowly opened his eyes with a groan and stared at her with an annoyed expression. He mumbled for her to go back to sleep but she whined and shook him again. "You promised me a soccer game, Luke. Now get up, you lazy git." He laughed at her before stretching his arms wide.
"Good morning," he smiled eventually, yawning in the process. "I guess I did promise you that. I'll make you breakfast first and then we can wake the guys and go, yeah? How about that?" He asked as he sat up in his bed.
She nodded with a grin.
"I'll shower now and then I'll join you for breakfast," she said before turning on her heel and walking out of his room. He shook his head with a chuckle before heading to the kitchen to make Charlie breakfast.
He could hear the shower running as he grabbed two bowls out of the cupboard. He decided on making her a simple fruit salad with some greek, plain yoghurt today. Hopefully she likes it, he thought even thought you could hardly go wrong with a fruit salad. Charlie loved her fruit.
She wasn't in the shower for too long. Fifteen minutes later, after she'd showered and gotten changed, she joined Luke in the dining room. Her hair was still damp seeing as she only towel dried it for five minutes - she'd dry it right after her breakfast. Luke's face lit up when she entered the room. She was now changed into her sports leggings and a sporty t-shirt and boy did she look good. Luke decided this was one of his favourite attires on her. She gave him a soft smile as she sat down next to him and tucked into her food, mumbling a thank you. He was glad she liked it.
Soon enough, they had both finished. Charlie went to quickly dry her hair whilst Luke went to wake up all of the boys. When it was dry, she threw it in to a slick pony tail, pulling strands down at the front and sides. She never really liked putting her hair up in ponytails. It always looked good as she held it in her hands but never when she actually tied the bobble around it. Despite that, she still made her way back to Luke. The first thing he did when he saw her up-do was compliment it. A slight shade of red lit up her cheeks but Luke hardly noticed. He wouldn't comment on it either way, he knew it was rather embarrassing.
The boys didn't take long to get ready. In fact, they almost halved the time that Luke and Charlie took, only taking a protein bar each and getting changed within a couple of minutes. The group all made their way out of the apartment and to the elevator, huddling in and waiting patiently for it to reach the bottom floor. When it did, the four boys began to make their way to Michael's minivan but Charlie quickly protested and suggested they walk instead, seeing as it was only down the road. Luke obviously obliged, he found himself agreeing with everything she said. However the other boys all scowled, mumbling that they had already done enough exercising, groaning that they would never be able to play soccer after a walk that long. The walk was only a short few minutes... Still, they all found themselves following and obeying the small girl - it had become a regular thing by now.
Just like Charlie had said, they were at the soccer field within no time. Michael grumbled that they walked for hours, he may have been a bit of an over-exaggerator. They all loved him for it though. Luke immediately kicked the soccer ball he brought down the field and Charlie quickly ran after it. Luke watched Charlie in awe as she skilfully dribbled the ball back to the boys. He gave her a wide smile when she passed the ball to him.
"Fancy a game of world cup, boys?" She asked, jogging up to Luke only to tackle the ball off of him. He gave her a small deadpan, attempting to take the ball back, only for her to pull the ball backwards with her foot and sported a cheeky smirk.
