2: A visit to Hero Public Safety Commission

Y/n POV

I woke up from my phone buzzing.

"Who the hell?!" I yell at the phone while I rolled into the blanket, becoming a total cacoon. Kinda reminds me of why my brother loves his sleeping bags so much.

'Maybe I should invest in some sleeping bags like Shota.' I told to myself almost out loud as I finally look at my phone. It's 9 am. God, kill me. They know I am a night hero, why bother me 2 hours into my sleep?

"Hello" I answer the incoming call.

"This is the Hero Public Safety Commission, am I talking to the current number 5 hero, Noch?" The voice on the phone asked. I growled inside my mind 'What do THEY want?'

"Yes," I answer as calmly as I could have, with probably some annoyance in my voice.

"y/n Aizawa we want you to come over to our headquarters immediately."

"I'd rather keep my real name out of the public's domain." I saw it as soon as she finished the sentence.

"Aizawa, Immediately." The voice repeated and hugged up. I can't believe they just did this. I had 2 hours of sleep in the past 2 days since Endovour started looking into the incidents.

I rolled out of my bed, still wrapped in the blanket and inched my way towards the coffee machine.

After making coffee and chucking the whole cup of extra-strong coffee, I finally got out of the blanket thinking 'Yup, investing in a sleeping bag.' I take a brief shower and put on my hero costume before slipping out of my apartment through the roof.

~1 hour later~

I walk through the 10th set of doors. Being led by someone I don't really care for at the moment. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity we walk into a very dark room with 3 other people in there. The assistant that led me there bowed and walked away. I stood in silence while looking at 3 figures in front of me.

"y/n Aizawa?" The middle man asked as I rolled my eyes.

"Noch" I bluntly said, not really caring for a response.

"Do you have any idea who you are speaking to? And why?"

'I have an idea of why I am here. I am the 5th pro-hero who primarily relies on stealth and cover of darkness and no one knows about my public identity, so I am as unknown as a famous hero can get. I have been looking and neutralizing many dangerous gangs by myself, thanks to my quirks, and currently looking into something, people in the alley's refer to as 'League of villains'. So yeah I get it, why I am currently in the darkroom, surrounded by special security and you are not allowing me to see your faces.' I thought but didn't want to say it out loud.

"You need a stealth hero to infiltrate a gang" this is all I said. The silence filled the room.

"Precisely." The woman on the right said. "We heard about your investigation with Endeavor. We are interested in what you have found out." I look at her with an exhausted look.

"Great, can I have a coffee?" I question feeling like the cup I had in the morning starting to wear off. They nodded and an assistant walks in with a wonderful cup of coffee. After drinking which I told them something that I found.

"Hm, I am impressed," the second man on the left said after I finished. "You have managed to uncover, almost by yourself as much information as we have and in such a short time." I shrugged and answered.

"The league, as much as I have found out, is relatively new and doesn't have enough good villains, they are all very basic." I stopped for a dramatic effect, looking at the man in the middle "But...They will grow in size and power as more time passes by."

"Exactly," the guy on the left said.

"This is why you are here. We are considering sending a few heroes undercover into the league." The woman said and as soon as she said that the man in the middle handed me a piece of paper.

"You are our first choice y/n Aizawa and we will be grateful if you take this job on, as the first responsibility and your main priority."

"What are the conditions?"

"They are all writ..." he didn't get to finish.

"Summaries it for me, I am running on 2 hours of sleep, so you need to get to the point quicker."

Can't say the higher-ups were too happy about it, but I am not here to beat around the bush and the quicker I get this over with, the sooner I can go back to bed.

"You will infiltrate the League, make contact with the contractors, we are settling your criminal details now. You are to keep in constant contact with us about the league's future plan."

"What about my hero status?" I ask, coldness in my voice, but I was rather worried. I am not going to give up everything I worked for just because they want me to babysit villains, I can just as easily do it at a distance.

"We do not care, one of your quirks allows you to glamour yourself, so if you choose to change your appearance in front of them, so that you can continue to do your hero work, peacefully, then we have nothing against it." I raised my eyebrows at that suggestion.

'This is going to be a pain in the ass, but... I am so intrigued.' I thought as I stood in silence, surrounded by 3 unknown people.

"Fine," I finally exhaled as I run through all the possibilities and outcomes of the current situation "I will do it."

'Now, can I get back to my beautiful bed and sleep for the next 24 hours?' All three figures smiled and we proceeded with the formalities. Signing papers, getting my measurements and my glamoured photo was taken. They are going to make me a slightly different hero costume than what I have now, something that I can always wear and wouldn't be recognized by the public.

~3 hours after the meeting was over and 5 hours after I got there~

Finally! God gracious has mercy on me.

'BED!' I crushed onto my wonderful soft bed and thought I was in heaven. 'Ah, God is real.' My final thoughts, before I was about to fall asleep but suddenly, something sprung into my head, something that I noted in the meeting.

'A few heroes undercover? A FEW? Who?' But before I could even go anywhere with this thought I drifted away into a deep sleep and slept for over 12 hours.

Best feeling ever.

Never want to leave my bed.

But....

Who the hell are they bringing into the undercover job with me?
