It was the night of the same day. I was on the same rooftop, where I normally met up with Hawks. My intern, or more of a sidekick, as I like to call him, was on the other side of town. I assigned it to him but said that if anything should happen I will call him.

It was chilly and I looked down at the device with twin tracking points on it. The points were together and they moved, so nothing suspicious for now. I let out a heavy sigh as I lifted my head and closed my eyes. 'I hope nothing will happen to them'

"Hey there, mystery woman" I heard a familiar voice from above.

"Hey there, feathers," I answered as he landed.

"What's up? Haven't heard from or seen you in a while. I missed you on patrols."

"Did you now? Nothing much" I answered and looked down at the tracking device.

"What's that?"

"I met two kids today" his eyebrows shot above his protective glasses and didn't allow me to finish my sentence.

"You and kids?!" He paused and gave me a sly smile "You know, I can assist you with making your own" And he wiggled his eyebrows in an attempt to seduce as he moved closer to me.

"I am an excellent choice" He joked around, but I didn't find it funny and he was immediately wrapped in my capture weapon and falling to the ground like a sack of potatoes.

"Not funny Hawks." I said as I looked down again "Those kids are abused and their mother didn't even allow them to have toys." I turned to Hawks, still straggling with the binding cloth but his expression was completely 180 from before. He wasn't smiling. "I bought them the two toys and placed a tracker on them." I made a pause.

"One of them had black wings."

We were patrolling for a couple of hours, quietly talking about different things. If I am being completely honest, Hawks grew on me, I didn't find him as annoying as he was when I first met him in the hospital, even though he doesn't know that it was me. Sure, occasionally he lets out a flirtation comment or a dashing smile. His fans adore him and even at night, he manages to gather a crowd of fans. It doesn't bother me anymore, as I just stand on the side, silently watching and waiting for him to finish whatever he is doing.

Today, I kept checking my tracker, every 15 minutes.

"You are really worried about those kids aren't you?" I heard Hawks say.

"Yeah" I quietly answered "You should have seen how terrified they looked. How helpless and hopeless their eyes were...." I looked down on to the street and I could feel Hawks' gaze on me until he looked down to the street too.

"Here" and I felt something heavy drop on my shoulders again. I look up into the golden eyes of the man that was standing next to me and with his hands on my shoulders. He gave me his jacket "You are shivering, and don't tell me you are not cold" he said with a slight worry in his eyes.

'Is he worried about me? Why?' I continue to look into his golden eyes as he continues

"My weakness is fire" he suddenly said as my eyes widened and he smiled.

"Why are you telling me this?" I ask while looking away 'You know why dumb-ass' I mentally slapped myself.

"Because I figured yours out. The more you use your quirk, the more sensitive your skin becomes" he said quietly with a smile as I wrapped his jacket around me. I was impressed.

"You are smarter than you look," I said while coming closer to the edge of the building, giving him a wink and he only laughed which made me smile too.
