Process: Photoshop to compile photographs of myself with reference photos of milk, layers of acrylic to create transparency in the hair
Size: 20*24 inches
Specific to my own experience as one of the only Chinese people in my Junior High, I use the metaphor of cereal to illustrate the constant weight of being the only. As an outcast, I resented living in my own skin. I was like a yellow cheerio floating lonely on a sea of white milk.
