Title: Welcome to Junior Year
Materials: Acrylic paint, charcoal, pencil, large poster paper
Process: First layer of background pink paint, then charcoal detailed figure drawings on each side, lastly added large typography in the center
Size: 5M * 1M
This poster was dedicated to my class when the semester first began in September. As junior year first began, everybody was anxious about the great stress of a year that was to come. I used bright colors and lively fonts in hopes to lighten the mood and welcome my classmates back on campus. Here, I set out to use art as a form of spreading love and connection. Enjoy.
