This was a huge month-long mural dedicated to the primary department of SHSID (Shanghai High School International Division). Every year the mural group paints one wall for the school. This year, we partnered with the Physical Education Department to create a sports/athletics-inspired wall art. I'm so happy to announce that the mural is now completely finished! A huge thank you to everybody who contributed to this project; As a team, we deliver this beautiful piece to you all!
I've always had a deep fascination for street art. Partly because it's so easy to enjoy. My favorite street artist is Banksy. Looking at his pieces, even from my iPhone screen, is an enlightening experience. His art wounds, heals, but more importantly, it transforms.
Like Edgar Degas once said, "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see."
If this artwork does one thing, I hope it inspires you to create something of your own.
Have a beautiful summer day, and go out and enjoy the sun!
