 'Sorry, can you just- agh sorry!' Y/N pushed through the group of people, 'Two seconds.'

Gryffindor Quidditch Team 1976

Keeper: Sirius Black

Seeker: James Potter

Chaser: Thomas Wood

Chaser: Carmon Bellswinder

Chaser: Peppy Wensilton

Beater: Finn Colendo

Beater: Y/N Y/L/N

'Hah!' she laughed, 'Donna, Lily, I got in! I'm a beater!'

Lily hugged her, 'Yes! I knew you could do it.'

Someone clapped her on the back and she jumped, turning to see James grinning, 'Congratulations, welcome to the team.'

She beamed back, 'Thanks, Potter!'

'What's happening?' there was a voice from behind her, 'Oh, Quidditch Team's up.'

He pushed past her and looked at the list.

'Peppy and Y/L/N. Well done.' he said dryly.

She couldn't even be bothered with him. She just left and said nothing.

'Y/L/N!'

She turned to see Thomas Wood behind her.

'Congratulations on making the team, quidditch practice is every Monday and Wednesday, don't be late.' he laughed but his face remained unhumoured.

'He's so intense.' Y/N whispered to Marlene who came up next to her.

'In a good way or a bad way?' Marlene asked thoughtfully.

'I honestly have no idea.' the girls laughed.

'What're you two laughing about?' Mary asked, striding up next to them with Dorcas.

'Y/L/N has the hots for Wooodddd.' Marlene sang.

'No I do not, Marlene McKinnon!' Y/N scoffed loudly.

'What do you not?' James said, sitting next to them.

'She's crushing on Wood.' Dorcas said, knowingly.

Y/N gave a strangled cry, 'No I am not! Shut it Dorcas. You wouldn't know if someone had a crush if it was written in crimson calligraphy.'

Marlene and Mary laughed.

'It's true Dorcas,' James said, earnestly, 'I am deeply in love with you and you never seemed to notice, that being said...'

James knelt down on one knee, holding a hair tie between two fingers, 'Will you, Dorcas Meadowes, do me the pleasure of becoming my wife?'

'I knew you were visually impaired, James,' Sirius who had just come in from the corridor said, taking the hair tie from between his fingers and tying up his hair, 'But that's quite obviously Dorcas, Ginger's in the corridor.'

'You are very much annoying, Sirius, you know that?'

'I can't believe you like Lils.' Marlene shook her head.

'Poor thing.' said Donna.

'Hey hey! Woah! That's low Donna, Lily and I would be a perfect couple, in fact, I'm going to ask her out right now.' James stood up.
