Professor McGonagall stared at the two teenagers locked in a small cabinet together with a blanket in a mixture of disbelief and lack of impressment.
'Would you two like to explain what you were doing locked alone in a trophy cabinet together?' she said curtly, staring down her nose at them with disappointment.
'Oh no. Oh no. Absolutely not. Nope.' Y/N rambled in realisation, 'See we had detention and Peeves - that damn poltergeist - locked us in with some dumb... gel thingy and I tried so hard to get rid of it, believe me-'
McGonagall raised a hand to silence her, 'That's quite enough, thank you, Miss Y/L/N. To class now, you two.'
Y/N squeezed past her and mumbled an apology.
Sirius winked at McGonagall who tittered as he strode up next to her.
'That was possibly the most embarrassing moment of my life.' she laughed incredulously.
'It wasn't that bad, love.' Sirius replied earnestly.
She scoffed and they walked up to the Common Room.
'Hippogriff beak.'
The portrait swung open and they straggled into the Common Room where their friends were lounging around on the crimson furniture.
Flicking through a paper without looking up James said a sing-song, 'Shame shame, I know your name.'
The colour of beets, Y/N gave a strangled, 'Peeve's locked us in the trophy cabinet and we couldn't get out.'
'Oh, so you slept together?' Lily asked coyly.
'Lily! Why would you phrase it like that?!' Y/N cried out, exasperated.
She just smirked.
Donna thudded down the stairs and looked up through her light and wild curls, 'She's back! Where were you?'
'Sleeping with Sirius.' Marlene said.
Donna looked at her, impressed, 'That's my girl!'
'Wha- Donna, no. No no no no no no. No!' she shook her head.
Donna laughed and went to walk out the portrait hole before nonchalantly saying, 'You look good in his jacket.'
To Y/N's embarrassment, she was in fact still wearing his jacket from last night.
'You gave her your jacket?! Goodness, you don't let me near your clothes.' Remus said.
'Because you try to fold them and ruin the order!'
'There's an order to your clothes?! They just lie on the ground in a pile!'
'Well, I'm sorry I don't fold my socks!'
There was a silence for a moment, Y/N unsure if it had been taken too far before the boys erupted into laughter, slapping each other on the back.
'Wha- Alright then. Do you want your jacket back?' Y/N, who was actually quite comfortable, asked.
'Yeah.' Sirius asked before commencing the attack as he tried to take the jacket.
She laughed and gave up, giving him the jacket which he promptly put on.
'Wait, are you two friends now?' Peter asked.
'Friends? Never.' Sirius replied, though when they turned away from each other, both were smiling softly.
'Mhm, friends, sure.' Donna smirked.
'Oh p-lease. He couldn't land me in a million years.' Y/N laughed, picking up her unfinished Defence Against the Dark Arts essay.
