"Hurry up, or we'll miss the train," Abraxas called to everyone still in the dorm room.
The school year finally finished and now they were going back on the train to go back to their homes. Abraxas was impatient to go, as he believed the sooner they left the sooner he would come back and become a fourth year. Being a fourth year meant that there would be three years of students below him that he could boss around.
After a few minutes, Tom, Harry, Cygnus and Roderick all left the room after and followed the impatient Malfoy to the platform.
They all walked to the back of the train, to the very last compartment, where they sat every time they were on the train. The five of them were joined by Avery, Nott and Orion.
The eight of them were squished into the one compartment when Abraxas began to explain, in detail, to everyone about everything he planned to do during the summer.
Once Tom could take no more of how marvellous the wizarding opera would be, he cut in, changing the subject.
"So, tell me what The Daily Prophet was talking about last week," Tom ordered, cutting Abraxas off.
Orion decided to speak up. Being the heir to the Black family meant that his father wanted him to know everything that went on in the ministry.
"Minister Fawley was ousted as minister because the people didn't think he was doing enough and that he didn't think that Grindelwald is a big threat. The Daily Prophet even called him Flamboyant Fawley because he wasn't taking anything seriously. He was replaced by Minister Spencer-Moon, who's the new minister," Orion explained to them.
Tom hummed, so there was a new minister. To replace one who wasn't taking much action against Grindelwald. That was good news, Fawley didn't seem to care much for his position as minister of magic anyway. He was far too cheerful. Tom doubted he would have ever done anything to reinstate the old traditions. The wizarding world was becoming too muggle for his liking. Hopefully Spencer-Moon would bring some old traditions back.
Harry sat in between Tom and the window. He couldn't give a single care about what was going on in the ministry, so he began to daydream. Daydreaming was nice, it was a chance to escape the reality of the world. Whenever the orphanage became too much, daydreaming was something he tended to do.
Harry was currently thinking about the summer holidays. He would have to live through the bombings all over again. Another summer filled with restless nights. At least he would be able to see Nagini again. Maybe he could tell her about the Chamber of Secrets. He wondered if Nagini had ever heard of a basilisk, or one what one was.
Harry was brought out of his thoughts when the train tooted it's horn loudly, indicating that they were arriving at platform 9¾.
When the train stopped the group of Slytherins watched as all the students piled off the train, excited to spend the summer holidays with their families. They themselves were too sophisticated to run off the train like those immature children. They would wait until the brawl of children exited the train, and only then would calmly leave the train.
It took a good five minutes until they could get out, as some of the children, mainly Gryffindorks, were loud and shouting to their friends to hurry up, while dragging too big trunks in comparison to themselves behind them.
They exited the train with an air of superiority, which only a true Slytherin could master. Ordinary people would not have been able to exit the train like the Slytherins did, especially Tom. He had an aura that surrounded him, his aura demanded respect from everyone, even Dumbledore. Although Dumbledore rarely if ever gave in to his demand. No matter, Tom thought, he would get in one day.
