"Yes, yes, come in, come in," Dumbledore said, welcoming all the order members into the current headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. The Potter Manor wouldn't be his first choice of a headquarters, but since Fleamont and Euphemia Potter died, the large manor was empty, bar from the young couple who lived there.

Lily and James were standing in the kitchen, which is where the order meetings took place, making sure that everyone was comfortable.

The Longbottoms were next to come in. Alice and Frank came in and took their places at the table and chatted with Lily and James while they waited for the others.

Once everyone was there, Dumbledore began the meeting, "welcome everyone to this important order meeting and thank you for coming on such short notice."

"Well, it's not like we had much of a choice seeing as we live here," James grumbled quietly in his seat, causing Lily to whack him on the arm.

"Of course, as soon as we saw your patronus saying that it was an emergency, we came as fast as we could," Alice said.

Dumbledore was about to say something when Sirius strolled in late, as usual, saying, "so what's the emergency?"

"Padfoot!" James exclaimed when he saw his best friend.

"Prongs!" Sirius shouted back and dragged a chair to sit next to his best friend. They were most likely going to talk quietly between themselves for the duration of the meeting.

"Anyway," Dumbledore said, "I have some important information to give you. That is that a few months ago, a prophecy was made-"

"Prophecies are created every day Professor Dumbledore; what's so special about this one?" Lily asked curiously.

"This one foresees a saviour able to defeat the Voldemort," Dumbledore said. A few of the order members flinched when Dumbledore said the dark lord's name. "Unfortunately, Voldemort already knows part of the prophecy and is most likely already trying to decipher it. I think it is best that I tell you, and then we can discuss together what to do next."

"Yes, I think that could be a good idea," Frank said, "so what does the prophecy say?"

Dumbledore then recited the prophecy for the order to hear. He knew that they all had good occlumency skills and was sure that no one would be able to take the information from their minds. "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches. Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies. And the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not. And either must die at the hand of the other, for neither can live while the other survives. The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies."

There was silence in the room where everyone was sitting. Even James and Sirius had quietened down.

It was common knowledge that both Alice and Lily were pregnant and that they were due towards the end of July.

The Potters and Longbottoms have both came face to face with Voldemort three times and are both expecting a child at the end of July ─ the seventh month.

"What does this mean? That either our child or the Longbottom's will be able to vanquish You-Know-Who," James said.

"Yes," Dumbledore said sadly.

"How much of the prophecy does You-Know-Who know?" asked Sirius.

"I do believe that he knows only this bit," Dumbledore said, then recited the beginning of the prophecy, "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches. Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies."
