Harry and Tom woke up snuggled in one of the two small beds; it was cold due to the winter weather and the orphanage didn't have a well-sustained heating system. Harry whined when Tom nudged at him to wake up but when yesterday's memories came to him he quickly sat up with an excited smile on his face. Today he was going to go and get his school supplies. Dumbledore was due to come at eleven o'clock and take them to a Diagon alley.

Currently, it was seven-thirty and they had half an hour till breakfast. Tom and Harry quickly got dressed and ready for the day. Once they were ready they put on blank faces and went downstairs for breakfast. They walked into the breakfast hall, as usual, got their food and sat at the small table in the corner. While they ate they read their books, which were held in front of their faces creating a wall between them and the rest of the room.

Using their mind powers, they conversed in each other's heads about what they thought they wizarding world was like.

That morning there was one of the younger children in tears due to the fact they were scared of the two boys who had entered the hall. That child looked around five years old and recently joined the orphanage. Last night some of the other children were telling each other creepy incidents which had happened because of the freaks. Mrs Cole had a hard time trying to reassure that they were all ok and that Tom and Harry couldn't do anything to harm them. She would have to get the older children to stop telling those things to the younger ones, she was fed up of having to calm down hysterical children. Today, however, she didn't say any reassurances, only that the boys would be leaving in about five and a half months and will be gone for about a year. Some of the other children had heard this and asked why to which she replied that they had gotten accepted into a boarding school. That piece of news was probably the fastest gossip to ever pass through the breakfast hall and in only a few minutes everyone knew.

The reactions to the gossip were varied; some were relieved that they would be gone, some laughed saying that they would be back within the first week, some didn't believe it and some were jealous having to go to the local village school, which is in desperate need of a renovation. Those jealous ones were also the ones who didn't learn from past mistakes and so decided to confront the two boys.

Percey was probably the most stupid of them all, never learning from his mistakes. Not even from the time he first joined the orphanage, he was how, however, a seventeen year old who gained mediocre marks from the village school. Percey was never offered a chance to go to a decent school, he believes that if he was he would be successful and have multiple universities offers already. He was jealous that others could have the education he desired. To make matters worse, the ones who were offered the education were the freaks of the orphanage. With all of his rage burning inside of him he stood up and, like four years ago, went to confront the two boys again.

"What did you freaks do to get into a fancy school? Who did you threaten?" Percey demanded.

"We did threaten anyone," Harry sighed.

"Don't, lie, to, me," Percey said glaring at the two.

Tom glared back at the boy and stated: "We never lie." Tom sent a small pain into his chest as a warning to go away before something bad was going to happen.

Percey felt the pain and immediately knew that it was caused by the freaks. "You'll always be freaky freaks, you'll be kicked out before you finished your first lesson," Percey said before turning around and leaving.

Tom and Harry weren't very affected by being called a freak anymore, since they were soon going to go to a school full of people like them, they could hardly wait.

After breakfast, they went to tell Nagini everything that they were told about the magical world. 'So there are more people with powers like you.' she said.

'Yes there's a whole society of wizards and witches, apparently there's also a misitsty and a court like thing called the Wizengamot.' Tom said.

"Tom," Harry said, "We haven't even been there yet and I can already sense you creating plans for the Ministry. You don't even know what type of laws there are currently."

Tom places a mocking hand on his heart and gave Harry an affronted look. Nagini hissed in confusion, not able to understand English, so Harry hissed a translation of the short conversation.

When the two of them went back inside they could see Professor Dumbledore coming in through the entrance.

"Hello, my boys. How are you today," he said with a twinkle in his eye.

Tom desperately wanted to growl and say that they weren't his boys. However if he ever wanted to ask him a favour he would have to play along so he said, "We're fine thank you. How are you?" He flashed a charming smile at the old man who decided to wear bright yellow robe today.

Harry could feel the loathing from the mental link he shared with Tom.

"I'm wonderful, let's go and get your school supplies," Dumbledore said already leading the boys out with his hand. Dumbledore led them around a corner and into a dark alley, "So we'll be taking a unusull form of travel to get to where we need to go," he said, holding out both his hands, expecting them to hold them.

Harry was weary when Dumbledore led them to the alley, he shuffled closer to Tom, nudging his shoulder as they walked. Tom wrapped one of his arms around the small of his back, tugging him a little bit closer. He read enough fictional books to know what happens in dark alleyways. They found it strage when Dumbledore held out his hands and so looked at them wearily.

"Go on, what are you waiting for, hold my hands," Dumbledore said, his eyes twinkling.

"Why?" Harry asked.

"It's a type of transport which will take us directly to where we need to go, you'll learn how to do it in a few years," he answered.

The two boys wearily put their small hands in his larger ones. "Hold on, it might feel a bit weird, espesially since it will be your first time apparating."

"Apparating what's th-" but before he could say the rest, he felt a pulling behind his navel and they disappeared from the alley. They reapperaed in a fairly normal-looking street.

"The wizarding world looks fairly similar to the muggle world," Tom said ignoring the slight nausia he felt. Harry, however, needed a moment, he cluched his stomacha s it to throw up but soon the feeling was over and he looked around.

"That's because we're not there yet," Dumbledore said, "Look over there," he said pointing to a pub. Tom and Harry looked at the pub strangely, 'The Leakey Cauldron' seemed like an odd name for a pub where everyone could see. "Don't worry muggles can't see it, only magical people can," Dumbledore said before walking into the pub not really checking if the two boys were following.

When they entered the pub they could see people wearing old fashioned clothes which made them look like they were in the middle ages. Robes and pointed hats seemed to be the trend of the wizarding world, Harry grimaced they looked uncomfortable, would he seriously have to wear those.

Tom noticed how some of the people were approching him and asking questions about all sorts of things. He assumed that he had some type of famous status but Dumbledore ingnored everyone and said instead "I apologise, however I must take these two boys to buy their Hogwarts supplies."

He continued to move towards a back room with the two boys following him. Tom looked analitically at Dumbledore who took out his wand and tapped a brick wall severall times. To his amazement the bricks started to shake and then move out to the sides making an enterance to the other side. Tom had to clench his jaw to stop himself from gaping. Harry was no better and let his jaw drop slightly, only parting his mouth a little bit.

In front of them was an alley which was filled with people and shops on each side. Tom and Harry couldn't wait till they could explore the new world they were now being introduced. However, now they had to follow the transfiguration professor who was already starting to move forwards.

"Come on boys, first we'll go to Gringotts, it's the wizard bank. There's a school fund from which you two can take some money from," Dumbledore said joyfully, leading the way.
