Mrs Cole led a small, trembling boy into the living room of the orphanage. The boy had raven hair and pale green eyes. His eyes were filled with tears as his parents had just left him at the orphanage. They weren't very loving parents and wanted to be rid of unnecessary expenses and time. "Max, come and show this boy around. He'll be staying with you in room 14."

A slightly taller than average boy walked up from his place on the sofa. "Hello, I'm Max, Max Benson. I'll show you around." He said looping the boy's hand in his.

"I-I'm Trevor, Trevor Jackson." He said, wiping the tears out of his eyes with his free hand. Max pulled Trevor into the circle of sofas and introduced him to everyone.

Max went round in a circle naming everyone who was sitting there. Trevor seemed to open up to the other seven year olds fairly easily. Trevor looked around the room of his new 'home' and he noticed two boys sitting in the corner.

"W-who are th-they?" Trevor asked, pointing to two old dark wooden chairs in the corner of the room. On the chairs were two boys, each reading from a large book. They held their books up to their face, so you couldn't really see what they looked like. However, from what you could see was that they were practically identical, they could pass at being twins.

When Trevor asked his question, the two boys looked up, only their eyes peered over the top of the book. They took a quick glance at the new boy and went back to their books. From what Trevor could see was that they were practically identical. They shared the same aristocratic features making them look as if they ruled the whole orphanage. The only difference between them, and the creepy part, was their eyes. Their eyes seemed to practically glow, radiating danger. One boy had deep blood-red eyes, which were able to haunt the dreams of everyone who saw them. The other boy had acidic green eyes, the same colour of poison. They looked as if they could see into your soul, reading your deepest darkest secrets. If you looked at either of the boys in their eyes, you could feel them judging you, whether you're worthy to live, or not; deciding your fate.

The group of children paled ever so slightly as Trevor asked his question. None of them wanted to answer his question, especially when the two boys were in the same room as themselves. If you looked close enough you could see some of them trembling ever so slightly. "The one with g-green eyes is Harry and the one with r-red eyes is Tom. They're also seven but have their own dorm." Max stuttered out. "I advise you to stay away from them. They're not normal." Max continued, however, the second part was said much quieter, practically a whisper.

"Come we'll show you the dorms." a boy named John said, quickly changing the subject seeing as the was a thick cloud of tension in the room. Trevor reluctantly followed the group, as they all walked off to the stairs, leaving the two boys on their own. Once the room was empty, except for Tom and Harry, the two boys lowered their books slightly and shared a quick glance with each other. Harry was the first to break into a smile, grinning stupidly at his friend. Tom merely sighed at Harry, shaking his head in mock disappointment.

This would never happen in the presence of anyone; they would wear cold calculating masks, hiding any emotion. They would only let their masks fall in the presence of each other, with no exceptions.

To everyone else they had to be intimidated, it was fairly simple- if they are scared of you then they won't bully you. No one knew what they were actually like. No one ever saw them smile. Smiling was only to be done in the presence of each other when no one else is around. Harry had a fairly bubbly personality, but only Tom knew that. And Harry knew that only Tom could return Harry's smiles.

Both of them could do stuff; stuff which others labelled as freaky, strange and unnatural. They were both bullied for it. Behind their backs, they were dubbed as Lucifer's twins. Tom was more of the charming and entrancing type; while Harry had more of an angelic beauty to him, full of innocence, more feminine. However, both their eyes mysterious, hypnotic, you could stare at them for hours. Tom being the king and Harry his queen; ruling by his side.

But that wasn't all that they were, they could torture, kill, make you beg for death. No one would ever point an accusing finger at them. They covered their tracks perfectly eliminating any and all evidence. They really were fallen angels; just like Lucifer himself. Angels who fell from the heavens down to hell and then rising to Earth to judge the mortal beings. To send the ones who have done wrong back to hell. The rumours were made believable as they couldn't provide any information about their actual fathers. No even their surnames. Legally they were known as Tom and Harry Noname; but they adopted the surname 'Wool', as in Wool's Orphanage. They could be twins or not related at all. No one knows. They were found on the doorstep of the orphanage with a piece of paper tied to each of their wrists, one saying 'Tom' and the other 'Harry'. Nothing more was known about them other than their date of birth.

They refused to be separated, they shared a dorm and were always seen sitting next to each other reading. Reading books which were not made for seven year olds; they preferred to be reading old, dusty textbooks.

They refused to be adopted by anyone unless they were adopted together. Sadly, no one wanted to adopt both of them. The ones who wanted to adopt Harry were scared of Tom's red eyes and the ones who wanted to adopt Tom didn't want Harry. Even with the promise that they could visit the other, they refused to leave the other.

Tom was possessive and protective of Harry. Even as a friend he was extremely possessive. Harry didn't mind. He felt safe in Tom's presence. Even though he can defend himself perfectly well, he sometimes likes to let Tom do all the 'work'.

The 'work' they were talking about was if one of the children, young or old, dared to mess with them, bully them, or even cross their path would be 'taught a lesson'. Those children would not be sane afterwards. Whether it was them getting terrified of everything, even their own shadow, or randomly falling into a spasm, withering in pain on the floor.

However, no one outside the orphanage knew about what the two boys did. There was never any evidence or witnesses. Even the victims couldn't identify their attacker.

Tom and Harry knew they were different, the others were partly correct about them. They were correct by saying they were different, but they were wrong when they called Tom and Harry freaks. Tom and Harry knew it. They knew they weren't freaks, they thought themselves superior, and they were correct.

They didn't know why they had their power, they didn't know the limits of their power. They could do what they wanted to if they wanted it enough. If they wanted something specific, it would come to them to appear out of thin air. If they wanted to make someone hurt they could do that. There were many ways they could make people hurt. Large cuts and welts could appear on their body, they could break their bones so they stick out of their bodies. Or they could just fall to the floor and scream in pain. They could also mess with people's minds, they could tell what people are thinking, predict what they are about to do, look through their memories and change their memories.

They could change the way people think. They used this trick a lot when they wanted to persuade Mrs Cole to let them go to the library down the road. They tried to find the answers to their powers but they never found any. They read a lot of books then swapped their pile so the other can read what the first read. They did this until they were five. At five years old they figured that they could simply read a book each and then look at each other's eyes and instantly swap their information. They could read through many more books faster this way, they liked this trick and used it almost all the time to communicate telepathically.

Tom and Harry finally got up from their chairs and went to find Mrs Cole; they wanted to go to the library and get some more books.
