Spring is here! You know what that means. Yes, it affects the brothers too. Enjoy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the longest time, you've been friends with a group of the earth's four elements. Or skele-ments.
They've always been there for you when you needed them. If you needed a shoulder to cry on, they were there.
Everyday if not all one would at least would spend the day with you to keep you company.
But, it had been days since you've last seen or heard from them. The snow had just melted, you knew Aspen would be busy helping with all the new baby animals.
But he would've sent you a letter by now if something was wrong. Or you would have heard from his brothers at some point. But nothing.
Igniter, although a rude brute, he would even check up on you. But he hasn't in the last week. It began to worry you.
You haven't even seen Alistair in the skies, not a single feather of his.
Every time you'd wait for Octavian at the pier, he'd never show. You wondered if Igniter had picked on him again.
Maybe the brothers got in a bad fight? No, they would always come to you for you to solve it.
You let out a sigh, deciding to take it into your own hands and check up on them. You needed to know if they were hurt or not. Were they sick?
As soon as you stepped into Aspen's side of the woods, the grass seemed to wiggle under your feet. Beautiful flowers of many types bloomed around you.
A few bunnies hopped passed you without any fear, squirrels ran up the trees and looked at you in curiosity.
Two bluejays nuzzled each other lovingly in their nest high above in the willow tree. It made you smile.
You heard the familiar click clack of hooves behind you, making you look over your shoulder.
Aspen stood there admiring the birds, his antlers covered in pink flower buds, yet to bloom. His arms behind his back, a soft smile on his face.
He didn't have a scratch on him, he looked fine. His ears twitched and he turned to you, his green eyes softening at the sight of you.
"Hello y/n." He says with that soft voice of his, he tapped a hoof as he smiled at you.
His legs had gained spots, as did his soft brown deer like ears. Even his tail had its spring spots.
"Aspen, I was so worried!" You ran up to the earth element and hugged him tightly. "I missed you guys! Is everyone alright? I haven't heard from you in days!"
He shivered in your arms, his body was far more warmer then normal. His musk of fresh cut grass and daisies seemed more.. Stronger..
"Y/n, I'm sorry to have worried you. Spring hasn't been easy for us, and.. Its been rather difficult to see you with our busy schedules." His breathing is uneven, and he returns the hug tightly. Almost eagerly.
You sigh and smile. "I missed you dummy. Is everyone okay?"
He nods his head, and pulls away from you with half lidded eyes. "We're fine, just a little under the weather..." His cheeks flush a light green.
"Y-y/n? Is that you?" You hear a meek voice call out to you from behind you.
Aspen narrows his eyes and pulls you to his side once again, was.. Was he pissed off? He seemed to be puffing up a bit?
You'd recognize those blue fins any where. Octavian pushed his way through the brush of the trees and slowly made his way over to you.
He had a small smile and a lidded expression once he laid eyes on you. "I knew I smelled you, oh y/n I missed you!"
You pull away from the deer and run to the water element with open arms. He shivered in your arms as he wrapped his around your waist.
He let out a shaky sigh and rest his head in the crook of your neck. There was a barely audible purr coming from him, which made you blush.
Aspen glared daggers at his twin, tapping a hoof in annoyance. His ears even folded back.
Octavian was slightly wet, it was either water or sweat. You weren't sure. His natural scent seemed stronger as well, smelling sweetly like sea salt, aloe and coconuts.
You gave him a soft peck on the cheek like you always do, but you didn't expect him to softly moan at the contact. Your eyed widen and your cheeks flush.
"Move your dumb ass! I'm the oldest! Back off!" You hear Igniter's gruff voice as he burns the brush around him.
In fact, it only seemed to get even hotter in a single moment by his presence alone. The fox eared fire element glared at the fined element holding you.
Alistair hissed and shoved him out of the way, he smiled at you his wings a little messier than usual.
"I saw her first." Aspen growls, clenching his fists and glaring daggers at the flamed fox.
Octavian held you tighter, with your back pressed against his chest, he rest his head on top of yours.
"F*ck off Bambi!" Igniter roars, his tail swishing behind him angrily.
Alistair narrowed his eyes. "Oh please, you both are a terrible choice! I'm the second youngest!"
"Eat shit birdbrain!" The fox hisses, bearing his fangs.
"Can some one please explain to me what's going on?" You ask,  crossing your arms.
Octavian sighs blissfully behind you. "Were trying to court you. Its the heat, its not our fault."
"What!?"
"Shut up candle head! As if she'd choose you!" Aspen spat.
"I'm the oldest and the alpha!" Igniter grits his teeth.
"So? I'm obviously the best mate! At least I can't burn her!" Alistair grins, hands on his hips.
"I'm going to f*cking burn you into a crisp!"
They continued to argue back and forth.
You where scooped up and held bridal style by the gentle water element. He pecks your cheek and quickly takes off with you, you wrapped your arms around his neck out of fear and surprise.
"Why don't we just let her choose?" Aspen sighs, pinching the bridge of his non nose.
Igniter crosses his arms. "Fine! Y/n, who do-"
Alistair's eyes widen. "Um.. She's gone?"
"Damn it! Crybaby took her!"
Octavian was already miles away from them with you whisked away in his arms, a mischievous smile on his face.
The cool water hugged you both as he hopped off the pier and into the ocean with you.
End..? I hope you enjoyed! Not all heat fics have to be sexual and gross.
