Ever since you were younger, no matter what room you were in, it felt cold, and you'd feel eyes on you.

When you were little, you'd always hear low growls under your bed. And the coldness lingered.. No matter how many blankets you had it felt like ice was in the air.

It didn't change at all when you turned seventeen. It stayed the same. And your parents didn't believe you.

You never looked under your bed once. Too afraid of what laid under there just waiting to pounce.

Whatever it was seemed to disappear whenever you mother or father entered your room to put laundry away.

But, you'd seen it. While you mom folds your clothes and sets them on the hangers, you see its horned shadow along the wall.

Its violet eyes stared back into yours.

And it sent a chill down your spine, it never blinked.

And as soon as your mother would leave the room, the shadow would book it for under the bed.

You hated getting up in the morning, you knew it could grab you at any moment and pull you under the bed.. Yet it never did.

Maybe it was all in your head.. Maybe you had finally lost it..

Well, thats what you thought until you'd seen it fully.

You parents had been arguing for the past months. You'd tone it out with your tv, turning it up louder.

But, your father had been drinking and he wobbled into your room with fury in his eyes.

"You stupid bitch.. You're just like your mother!" He called out in anger, a bottle in his left hand.

Your eyes widened and you held your arms up. "Dad, please i-"

He shook his head and dropped the bottle, and he slowly made his way over to you with a raised fist.

Your rooms temperature had dropped significantly, to where it felt like a bucket of ice had been poured over your head.

There was a loud growl, causing your father to look down. What he saw made him turn pale in a matter of seconds.

Purple see through beasts flew out from under your bed, their teeth latching onto your fathers arms.

They held him still, as he tried to get loose from their hold, their teeth sliced into his skin like butter.

A shadow appeared in the center of your room, between you and your father. Black smoke came off its body as it slowly raised out of the floor.

The beast was revealed, its growl sent vibrations though your chest with how deep it was.

It lashed out and sliced its claws across your fathers face, going for the eyes while it bit into his neck with its shark like teeth.

The shadow beasts moved aside as their leader ripped your father to shreds.

Blood covered the floor, your father was dead...

The beast panted and stood up again, it stood over your fathers corpse and slowly turned to you.

Your blood ran cold, thinking you were next.

It put a bloody claw up to its jagged smile. 'Shhh.. The bad mans gone now.' It whispered.

Its deep purple eyes lit up as it turned back to the body on the floor. It let out mischievous giggles as it dragged your father under the bed.

You weren't crazy. There was a monster under your bed... And it just protected you.

Over time, your mother had gotten a new job and assumed your father had left her for another woman.

You still lived with her to keep her and the cat company.

But, you mom had to leave for a business trip for two weeks. Leaving you with Muffin, and him.

While Muffin ate her food in the kitchen, you walked into your room and laid on your stomach in front of your bed.

And to no surprise, the white pupils met yours and so did a smile. This one wasn't menacing, it was genuine.

'Hello y/n.' He greets you.

You tilted your head. "Moms away on business.. And.. Can you come out?"

He giggles again, this one being sweeter then the one on that night he attacked your father.

Two clawed hands came out from under the bed, and he slowly pulled him self out.

He.. Wasn't as scary as you remember.

He was a skeleton monster with with dark smoke fuming from his ankles and wrists. He always seemed to have a grin, it being full of razors that he calls teeth.

He had large purple horns with two white horns next to them. He tilted his head at you his sockets going lidded.

He wore one of your old sweaters that you've been looking for, for years. It being a dark grey with black stripes.

With dark grey torn up shorts, with a chain hanging from his right hip, and finally a pair of black hightops.

He laid on his 'stomach' with his hands propping up his skull. 'So,.. Here we are...'

"Here we are.. How long have you been under my bed.."

He chuckles. 'I've always been there for you, I took an oath to keep you protected.'

"But you kill my dad.."

'He planned on hurting you.. And look at how happy you and your mother are without that bastard.' He smiles.

You sigh. "Why me.. Why protect me out of everyone else?"

He gently ran a claw down your chin. 'You were the only one worth protecting.~'

Your cheeks flush.

He chuckles at that and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear. 'And I plan on staying.. Sleep well darling.'

He waves with a playful hand and fades under the bed once again.

You sat there in shock.

Muffin stepped into your room and stared at you like you grew a second head, before she left the room to go take a nap.

End..?

(Sorry if this is bad, I had no idea how to end it. But, Kage is my favorite so I hope you enjoyed!)
