Fear flipped to the page's stapled to the back of Asher's drawing, he handed it to the wolf himself.

Asher takes the book in his hands and clears his throat. "A long time ago, I was an omega in a pack known as The Lunar Claws.."

A young Irish werewolf sat on the front porch of his cabin, a toothpick hung from between his fangs. His mismatched eyes watched the sky.

It was going to rain tonight.

"Asher! Asher!" A female voice yells for him, nervousness in her voice as she ran up to him with flushed cheeks.

Tray Howler. Asher's baby sister, well, she was grown up now. But she'd always be a baby to him. Her fur was grey like his, but had a single blur streak through her bangs.

Her eyes were orange and she had one single fang stick out more then the others. She wore a casual pink t-shirt and a pair of jean shorts with ripped black leggings and a pair of hiking boots.

"There's my little runt. Where have you been?" He asks her, standing to quickly hug her.

She returns the hug and smiles up at her brother. "You will not believe what just happened! Tex asked me out!" She squeals.

Asher's ear twitches. "Tex? As in.. The alpha Tex? Are you sure he's not just joking?"

Tray puffs out her cheeks and crosses her arms. "Don't be mad that I got a mate before you did! I thought you'd be happy?"

He rests a hand on her shoulder. "I am, I'm just nervous is all. I want to make sure you'll be alright."

She rolls her eyed with a smile. "You always were the protective one! Now can you help me with my hair?"

With a sigh, Asher nods his head and leads her into the cabin they shared. Ready to help her get ready for her date.

Although, as he watched her leave later that night, he couldn't ignore the knot in his stomach. He had a bad feeling about this.

But, he wanted Tray to be happy.

The ache had gotten worse.

It had been a year since Tray and Tex had gotten together, and soon enough she had told her brother she was expecting pups.

Asher had to bite his tongue and just smile. He was happy for her yes, but Tex was a douche.

He was already a harsh pack leader, always shoving the others in the pack around and eating most of the food and leaving them with scraps.

As much as she tried to hide it, Asher had noticed the cuts on her shoulders. Those weren't there before...

"Tray, what the fook is that." He narrows his eyes at her, setting his mug down.

Tray sighed and set her fork down, pushing her plate to the side, her ears folded. "Me and Tex got into an argument.. Don't worry about it, I'm fine."

"Its not fookin' fine! He fookin' hit you! Even I've never hit you!" Asher snarls, standing from the table as his fur stood on end.

Tray shook her head. "Fights happen! Get over it! He won't do it again!" She stood up as well and quickly left out the backdoor.
