(Aurora's POV)
Asa was fully dressed now, but I kept staring where I knew the tattoo was. I hadn't seen it earlier because it was placed in a way that you could only see it if his pants hung very low on his waist.
"You have x-ray vision, Princess?" He asked, a smirk appearing on his face.
"Maybe." I said, blushing lightly.
"Your clothes are done. We're good to go as soon as you get dressed."
I changed back into my clothes and we left shortly thereafter. I'd walked from my house to the store and then from the store to his place, so we obviously took his car.
I went inside and distracted Archie while he placed and lit the candles. He came in with the cake and we started singing.
I'd never seen Archie look so happy and it made my heart happy.
"We made it by hand." I smiled as Asa cut us each a piece.
Archie pulled me in for a hug. "I love it. Thank you."
"Well we love you. Happy birthday."
"Thank you."
We sat in the beanbags in the little reading area while we ate. We laughed, talked, and had a wonderful time for over three hours. Archie insisted I fill him in on everything that happened while I was gone so I did my best.
"You're joking."
"Not even a little. It was the funniest thing I'd ever seen." I laughed.
"Daniel really did that?"
"Yep. He was the talk of the school for a longtime. They only forgave him because they said he was so good looking."
"Which one did he end up dating?"
"Neither of them. He has sworn off dating anyone who is a twin or triplet. Says he can't risk it ever again."
"What about you?" Archie asked, briefly glancing at Asa.
"What about me?"
"Tell me about your boyfriends. Have any pictures I can see?"
"No boyfriends."
"None at all? You were gone a long time."
"Nope. No guy ever seemed worth my time."
"Ahh you're a picky one." He grinned.
"Afraid so." I smiled.
All the cake was gone and it was dark outside by the time we left. When we got back to his place, it seemed like everyone was hanging out outside and a majority of them appeared drunk. Luckily, we got inside before any of them could head our way although some did yell for Asa.
"Asa?" I said as he took off his shoes.
"Hmmm?"
"Can I stay here tonight?"
He smiled. "If you want. I won't stop you."
I shot a short text to my mom telling her that I was staying with Asa so she wouldn't worry. All she said was okay.
I put on his clothes that I had on earlier and sat on the couch while he changed. When he came out he was holding a small pair of scissors.
He sat beside me and handed my the scissors.
"What am I to do with these?"
