Tap tap tap tap. A constant tapping noise intruded the room as Janus sat, his leg shaking.
"Are you sure that's what he said?" Logan asks, he was doing his bets to console Janus. In all honesty-he was surprised Janus came to him in the first place.
"Yes. What can't I be enough? Is there something so wrong about me?"
"No. I'm sure it was an innocent comment. Things would be a lot easier for me and Remus if we rejected our... Connection, but we made things work-and rather well if I do say so myself."
"So it really doesn't mean anything bad?"
"No, if anything, he's still with you and loves you, so it could be encouraging if you look at it from a new perspective."
Janus smiles, "Yeah. You're right. He wants to brave this with me and that's what I'm going to do!"
Logan's features become slightly serious for a moment, "But be warned, after me and Remus told you all we were dating Virgil came to talk to me about Remus. Let's just say, make sure you don't have any skeletons in your closet with Patton. It's Virgil's job to worry so don't hold it against him."
"Yeah, I should go talk to Patton. There are somethings that could be made seem... /Brilliant/ out of context."
Logan nods, "Good luck"
Janus leaves, making his way to the living room to find Patton. He was probably watching a film like he always does when his is upset.
"Hey! Janus!"
Janus turns around, "Roman?"
Roman was dressed as his brother, mustache and all, he was looking nervously at the door which was now behind Janus.
"What are you-"
Roman grabs Janus by the shoulders, pulling him in and pushing his lips to Janus's. Roman held him there for a second and Janus heard someone leave the room.
Janus quickly shoved Roman back, turning just in time to see Patton's jumper fall to the ground.
"Roman! What the fuck?!" Janus yells, but the Prince had gone.

Almost inaudible, a faint knock draws Virgil's attention to his bedroom door. "Hey kiddo, you in there?" Patton's voice was quite and hurt.
"Yeah, come in"
Patton shuffles in, he was crying.
"Hey, pops, what happened?"
"I know you're mad at me about Janus, but I think you were right."
Virgil couldn't believe Roman actually did it, he holds his arms out to invite Patton to join. "What happened, Pat?"
Patton joins Virgil, cuddling him, "He kissed Remus... Right infront of me. I don't think Logan knows... What am I supposed to do. I love him Virg"
"Loved. He cheated on you. You can't forgive him for that. He'll hurt you more then this if you stay with him"
Patton doesn't say anything, only letting Virgil comfort him. It's all he wanted right then. He was so sure the Janus really loved him, that they'd be together for... well as dramatic as he felt, forever...

But, of course not. Janus had just twisted him up in false love and cold lies. Another victim of the sly serpent. He didn't know why and at the moment he did have the energy to care; he just wanted love- is that so hard to give?

Every room he checked, every place he called, every moment he spent and yet finding Patton seemed impossible. Janus was hunting every fraction of the mind scape, clutching Patton's cardigan  as if- even for a moment- he were to let go, he'd loose Patton completely. Nothing would stop him from tearing everything upside down and inside out if need be.

It became apparent what was happening the moment Janus saw Patton running away. It was all orchestrated,  and he knew who by...

Remus had his arms wrapped around Logan's arm, "No! You can't. Please? Just listen to me!"

Logan raises an eyebrow, he stops trying to shake the Duke off and gives him a moment to speak. 

"Okay, just listen. I don't know what you heard, but whatever it was it was a lie! I would never, not to you. Please, you know that?"

"How can I trust you after this?"

Remus whines, throwing his arms in the air, "I just set a few of Roman's things on fire! Nothing that can't be fixed; non of it with your supplies!"

"Remus, I'm not mad, but our date won't work if I don't have sufficient fuel."

Remus sighs, "fine... it was me... I'm sorry..."

Logan smiles, "I know you are. And I think you have some making up to do"

"YES! Anything you want! Anything at all!!"

"Next time you feel like blowing something up-" 

"Don't do it... I Know...."

"No take me with you." Logan places a kiss on Remus's cheek, "I'd never expect yo to act any different then who you are with me. And, you always look hot lighting matches" 

Remus gasps, "I do?"

"Most definitely"
