*Shawns POV*
I set up my camera and pulled out my guitar. i strummed it and sighed. I began to play Summertime Sadness. I smiled and sighed. I put it on YouTube for everyone to hear.
"You sound amazing" Carrie said leaning against the door frame.
I chuckled and she sat next to me.
"Play me a song" she asked.
I began to play for her. she smiled and leaned against my shoulder.
"That's was perfect Shawn" she said smiling.
She looked at the floor.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I just miss home" she mumbled.
I grinned and my eye twitched.
"Can I play another one?" I said.
She looked up at me with sad eyes.
She smiled and nodded, she sat on the floor in front of me to see a full view. I cleared my throat and began to play.
"It's just another night
And I'm staring at the moon
I saw a shooting star
And thought of you
I sang a lullaby
By the waterside and knew
If you were here,
I'd sing to you
You're on the other side
As the skyline splits in two
I'm miles away from seeing you
I can see the stars
From America
I wonder, do you see them, too?So open your eyes and see
The way our horizons meet
And all of the lights will lead
Into the night with me
And I know these scars will bleed
But both of our hearts believe
All of these stars will guide us homeI can hear your heart
On the radio beat
They're playing 'Chasing Cars'
And I thought of us
Back to the time,
You were lying next to me
I looked across and fell in love
So I took your hand
Back through lands and streets I knew
Everything led back to you
So can you see the stars?
Over Amsterdam
You're the song my heart is
Beating toSo open your eyes and see
The way our horizons meet
And all of the lights will lead
Into the night with me
And I know these scars will bleed
But both of our hearts believe
All of these stars will guide us homeAnd, oh, I know
And oh, I know, oh
I can see the stars
From America" i strummed this long beautiful song for her.She closed her eyes and her head hung low. she wiped her tears and sniffled. I lifted her to her feet and hugged her. we fell to the ground holding each other.
"Don't ever let me go" she mumbled.
"Never" I replied.
We sat there forever just holding each other.
"I love you too much to let you" I said kissing her head.
She sniffled again and smiled. We laid in bed and just hugged for hours. she never stopped having tears rolling down her cheeks. there had to be something else going on through her mind. I kissed her forehead.
"Carrie are you okay?" I asked.
She shook her head and sat up.
"No" she replied.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I'm- I'm no good for you Shawn" she said standing up.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"I feel like something bad is gonna happen and I don't want it to happen to you" she replied.
I looked at her confused.
"I'll risk anything to be with you Carrie" I said walking over to her.
"I'm just a bad person, I've done a lot of dumb things in the past and you always manage to help me through, but I don't want to jeopardize our friendship because of one little mistake" she said pacing back and forth.
I sighed and pushed back my hair. I sat on the end of the bed and covered my face with my hands.
"But I don't care! Because I love you!" I yelled.
She jumped back and cried more.
"I'm sorry Shawn" she said running out.
"Carrie. Carrie!" I yelled.
I chased after her but she was lost in the rain. I squinted and walked a little bit outward, but nothing. I walked back inside and wiped away the tears I had. I slammed my fist against the motel wall. matt and carter came running in worried.
"Shawn!" They yelled.
I looked over and covered my face with my hands again. they walked over and sat next to me.
"Where's Carrie?" Carter asked.
I shook my head.
"Sh ran out" I replied.
Matt hugged my shoulder and sighed.
