"Just Friends"

Friends

He jumped on stage with excitement waving at all his fans. I loved my bestfriend, he's such a good person. when we were little he was always the kindest out of all my friends. never forgot a birthday, always reminded me to smile, and loved to care of me when I was sick. A girl swinging her arms was calling my name.

"I love you Shawn!" A fan yelled.

He waved and sat down for the autographs like all the boys did. he smiled and one really excited girl came running up.

"OMG Carrie! I love you! Are you dating shawn" she whispered that last part.

I chuckled nervously and smiled.

"Nooooo" I replied.

Shawn chuckled and signed the picture.

"I totally ship you guys" she said leaning in.

I looked at her weird, smiled, and blushed.

"Alright who's next?" The manager yelled.

The girls yelled excitedly.

"OMG Carrie! Shawn! Will you please do your dance that you made up as kids?" A fan yelled.

I looked at Shawn and shrugged. we did our dance and everybody applauded us. I couldn't believe shawn remember that, it was so long ago. I barely remembered it. The guys took a group picture and dragged me in it. I was surprised nobody was angry with me hanging the guys. I smiled and we all headed back on stage for the rest of the day. the guys decided to go to the water park. I wore my teal two piece with embroidery on the straps. I slid on shades and sat back. shawn came walking over dripping wet. I took off my shades and looked up.

"Excuse you?" I teased.

He chuckled, wiped his face, and sat in the chair next to me.

"Having fun?" I asked.

"Yeah, you should put something on" he said poking my tanning skin.

"Why?" I chuckled.

He cleared is throat nervously.

"So you uh don't get burnt" he said.

"I think I'll be fine" I replied.

He nodded. I put my shades back on.

"Well then you should come in the water" he said standing up.

I tilted my sunglasses so I could see him. his tone body glistening in the sun. I raised one eyebrow and shrugged.

"Whatever floats your boat" I said setting my stuff to the side.

He smiled and we jumped in. cameron splashed me and chuckled.

"Hey!" I yelled.

He laughed and everybody started splashing each other. shawn lifted and threw me across the pool. I screamed and chuckled coming back up.

*flashback*

"Shawn! Shawn! Push me down the water slide" I yelled.

He laughed and pushed me coming down behind me. we both laughed and swam around chasing after each other.

"Carrie watch out!" He yelled.

I swam away fast and chuckled.

*end of flashback*

I broke my trance and smiled.

"Omg!" A fan yelled.

I pushed back my hair and smiled.

She hugged all the guys and even me. She walked over to me and smiled.

"Are you and shawn dating?" She asked smirking.

I looked over at him playing around. I smiled and shook my head.

"No, we're just friends" I said.
