New Friends

*Shawns POV*

"Something big is happening whoa" I sang finishing my song.

Everybody began to cheer and I chuckled.

"Thank you" I said.

I walked off stage and wiped my face from the sweat. I chuckled at the cheering girls. Carrie walked over to me and smiled.

"You did awesome, as always" she said.

I kissed her forehead and smiled.

"I love you" I mumbled.

"I love you too Shawn" she replied.

I walked out to the bathroom to wash my face and looked in the mirror. I sighed, walked back out, and wiped my face. When I walked towards the green room I bumped a shorter girl and she scoffed.

"Excuse you" she yelled.

"So sorry!" I said helping her up.

"Please don't touch the art work" she teased.

I squinted and chuckled. She smiled and chuckled herself.

"I'm Marian" she said sticking out her hand.

"Shawn" I replied.

I shook her hand and smiled.

"Anyways I gotta go clean off my pants" she said.

"Hey I really am sorry for bumping into you like that" I said.

"Its okay" she said chuckling.

"No let me repay you, how bout two new tickets to my next concert" I said not thinking it through.

She looked up at the ceiling and nodded.

"Sure" she replied.

"Okay cool" I chuckled giving her the pieces of paper.

She smiled and nodded.

"Nice meeting you" she said.

"You too Marian" I replied.

She smiled and walked into the bathroom. I walked back to the green room, sat down on the couch, and sighed. Carrie sat next to me and smiled. I rested my head against hers and chuckled.

"What?" she asked.

"Nothing" I replied.

She nodded and smiled.

"Shawn your back on in10" the stage manager said poking his head in.

"Thanks" I said.

I stood up and flung my guitar around my shoulder and sighed. Carrie stood up, fixed my collar, and kissed me. I smiled and headed back on stage.

"What's up guys?" I asked in the microphone.

They all cheered. I chuckled and looked at Carrie who looked at me with puppy dog eyes. Not sad eyes, but cute happy eyes. I raised my hands in a heart and everybody did the same. I sighed, closed my eyes, and strummed.

"All the strings attached girl" I sang.

Everybody cheered louder. Here we go Shawn. I looked farther out into the crowd and saw all the girls.

"All the string attached girl" I sang again humming afterwards.

The crowd cheered even louder which made me chuckled.

"Met this girl when I was three or so

We were holding hands started going slow

And it felt like an eternity

Two sides of the stories in our defense

And it'll only end up burning me" I sang/rapped.

I chuckled again, walked over to Carrie and brought her out on stage. I sat her on a stool and strummed again.

"Years flew by I was less than twelve

Can you come on over and work with me

Anytime you like and it'll work with me

'Cause I knew back then if I get you close

When the times is right maybe I'll propose

Baby climb up, go on show me the ropes" I showed off with my voice.

She blushed and covered her face.

"Sing along if you know who this song is about" I yelled.

Everybody sang loudly and some cheered. Carrie chuckled and waved her hands in the air.

"Darling I want all the strings attached

I want all the strings, all the strings attached" the crowd sang.

I strummed and sang along. This was probably my favorite show ever.
