*Carries POV*
"Carrie, you need to come out and eat" my mom said through the door.
"I'm not hungry" I replied.
"Shawn called" she said.
I swallowed hard and sighed.
"I don't care!" I yelled covering my head with the blankets.
"Whenever you're ready to come out your food will be on the table" she mumbled.
She sighed too and I heard the floors creak so she must've left. I got out of bed and took a shower. I let the water rolled down my back as I sat in the tub. it's been a week since I talked to Shawn. I was skinny, pale, and weak. Physically and mentally. I dried off and brushed my hair. I laid in bed and fell asleep.
When I woke up there was a glass vase with roses and a box sitting on the table next to me. I sat up and opened the letter that sat in the roses.
"I'm so sorry, I love you" it read. no name.
I opened the box and there sat the guitar necklace that Shawn gave me. I sighed and played with it between my fingers. I gripped it and got ready. i put on my black bowler hat and small flowly black dress. I put on my makeup and walked out.
"Mom I'm going out" I said.
She paused and smiled.
"Sounds good" she muttered.
I nodded and headed to my car. I drove to Nash and Camerons with the necklace sitting in passenger seat. I sighed, walked to there door, and knocked. Cameron opened the door and smiled.
"Hey Carrie" he said.
"Hey Cam" I said kindly. "Is Shawn here?"
He nodded and let me in. I sat on the couch as Nash walked in. I hugged him and Cameron walked into Shawns room. When Shawn walked out, he looked the same way I did. The blanket wrapped around him, hair messy, pale droopy face. He looked over at me and lightly gasped. His tears stained his cheeks. I took off my sunglasses and sighed. Cameron and Nash left while Shawn sat in the seat next to me. I pulled out the box and sat it on the table.
"I fixed it" he mumbled.
I nodded.
"I miss you so much" he said hanging his head low.
I was silent. We sat there awkwardly.
"Please say something" he said choking up.
I fluttered my eyes and sighed.
"I don't know what to say" I replied.
"I know just hear me out, you're the love of my life. I'm so sorry for the biggest mistake I've ever made. I love you Carrie. when we sat on the bed and you told me I wasn't good enough for you it was the other way around. I wasn't good enough for you because you're absolutely perfect. I just didn't know what to do. if I can do anything to get you back I would. I would be loyal to you for the rest of my life. I understand if you don't love me back because of my mistakes, but I love you more than anything in the world" he said passionately.
I sat there in amazement and I took his hands. I bit my bottom lip and pecked his lips. I've missed those soft plump lips. he looked at me and kissed me back harder. It felt so good to kiss him again. I've missed him so much.
"I love you Carrie" he mumbled in between the kiss.
I paused and sighed. I pushed him back and held my mouth. I stood up, walked over to the slider door, and looked out the window. I wiped a tear from cheek.
"What's wrong?" He asked walking over to me.
"I just- I love you too" I chuckled.
He smiled and kissed me.
"I promise to never hurt you again" he said putting my necklace back on.
I smiled and pulled a bracelet out of my pocket. it read the day we started loving each other. a little infinity sign was sat next to it to remind us that we will always love each other. I smiled and put it on his wrist. I cupped his face and kissed him. it felt like an eternity kissing him.
"Thank you" he whispered.
I smiled and sighed feeling relieved, like a big rock was lifted off my shoulders. he deserved a second chance.
