The four of them had returned to the table after, the usual pristine werewolf had noticed how grimy she felt now that she was coming to terms with not being out of her mind, being tortured by visions of the dead. She sat opposite her posthumous friend, whispering to the vampire. The resident ghost expert. "Why do her eyes look like that?" The frazzled were teen questioned.Sarah watched them, eyes wide, non-responsive. "I'm right here.""She's dead, her eyes aren't reacting to the light." Paul shone his cell's torch into her eyes, now that's unkind, she pointed at the onlooking Diana, "She may not be able to see me but you two can." She stuck her index and middle finger up and through the cell phone, Alexa's mouth made an 'O' "Shhhushh we're talking about you, not to you." Paul mocked putting his cell away, even dead. She didn't like people, so her trusty friend stabbed his hand with her spoon. "Ouch! Okay! She also doesn't need to blink, you're just unnerved okay." The Alex hovered her fork above his other hand, glaring at him, daring him to insult her more. "Do you feel like blinking?""Nooo. Alex, I don't feel much of anything." She caught Alex's eyes in hers, she could see she caused her pain by saying that but, what was she now? Was she still Sarah? Was she nothing? All she really knew was she needed Alex to be there through it. "But best friends forever?""You know I owe you at least that.""It wasn't your fault if that's what you think.""You wouldn't have been there if I hadn't..." "I've gotten myself in silly situations before. So the-" Diana had started speaking over her. "Alexa honey I do have to mention while you were... otherwise occupied, I've noticed a fair amount of vampirc activity in London. Should we get back to saving, erm, um, less mortally challenged people?" "That's my girl." Paul chimed in. Alexa gave in to her urge to use the fork, the vampire screamed in pain and then pulled his two hands up off the table, his palms up both bleeding from their centres. "I get your point." he frowned at his assailant, the good catholic ghost snorted at the image. "Alexa honey, terrible joke." Diana shook her head. How long had her daughter been waiting to stigmata the vampire? They may have never tried it before as a method of destruction, but it was extremely unlikely to have any effect.
