They arrived at an apartment complex, it was far more expensive than she had expected. What did 'video game makers' earn? Wasn't it supposed to be incredibly expensive to live in London? He stopped for a moment, directly in front of her and padded himself down. He pressed the entry code into the button panel. "Do you mind waiting here, I need to tidy a few things away." He called back as he ran out of sight. She had followed a strange boy home, she'd been expecting something like that. Even her... Tristan didn't keep his house ready for guests and he spent most of his time as a wolf snuggling in front of the fire or out howling at the moon. She mused she'd have preferred to tease him in person but that would require well, talking to him. This boy was probably trying his hardest to explain the situation to his parents. She walked up slowly, following his distant sent to the door. And took up a leaning position at the wall opposite it. The door flew open and not noticing her Bahman grabbed a key from the bowl just inside the door and went to lock it from the outside. She had to do it, the guy had so little perception of danger, it was too easy, she cleared her throat as loud as possible. His eyes widened at her in surprise "Oh you found it, come in." His surprise melted into a wide smile. How had this kid stayed alive in this treacherous city must have been sheer luck. When she looked at him wholly stranding in that doorway she noticed, everything he was wearing shone money, the gold chain, the few rings, the burgundy designer sports outfit, down to his far too loud trainers. Had she stumbled on a prince or something? Lucky her she didn't need a price charming. He was going to have to be careful with her around, especially if she was going to go around looking for vampires, he'd insist on going with of course but, remembering keys, that was something he didn't want to give brain power to. The intimidating girl walked in had a quick look about the place, and placed her helmet on the kitchen table. "Where can I sleep?" "My housemate is away for at least a month, you can have his room. Baring in mind I haven't looked in there yet." He led her down the corridor to a blank door and pushed it open. The room was 'serviceable' more aptly spartan, the beige everything design, like no one really lived there, Alexa immediately felt at home. Until she opened the drawers and came across a pair of handcuffs and some very squidgy weapons. All of the drawers were either filled with strange things or beige, brown, black or grey clothing. She walked back out to Bahman standing just outside the door, "He can be a weird dude. You didn't look in the draws did you?" He studied her face, it must have shown in her far too wide eyes. "Yep, could have warned me.""How was I supposed to know to tell you not to look. Will it do? He's in Munich.""Yes, thanks." "So I take it you've got enough material because I have work to do. What time will you wake up in the morning?""Between 1-2pm." He shrugged. She morphed into her best impression of a disapproving mother but when she thought about it... It was not like she could talk. School was the only thing that kept her from being nocturnal. "Okay, what time do you turn in?""Whenever I crash.""See you around dawn." She leapt out of the window, she really didn't want another innocent to follow her out. He popped his head out of the window to check out where she had landed as she crawled up to the roof. She looked down to check he hadn't seen her direction, she noticed his head had gone. Somehow he was already in the courtyard below searching for her. She hocked herself up and rolled up onto the roof. "Sarah?" The hunter tried to call her ghost-best friend in the way Paul had mentioned, focusing her thoughts on her, feeling the way she made her feel when she lived when she died. She let out a sigh, blinking back the tears. "Supp Alex?" formerly Sarah was sat next to her, smiling, with the same dead eyes. "Do you happen to remember Paul or Diana's phone number?" She turned her gaze to the city, the skyline was full of light and bustle. She couldn't see the Gherkin, the London Eye, Big Ben, or the palaces or anything, but she saw a lot of life and a lot of people she needed to keep safe, and she couldn't fathom the threat. Paul's sister hadn't come back to find her, so she must think her dead. Other than that, what organisation could the soulless vampires come together to make? They usually worked and killed alone, they were too much creatures of violence to keep to stable groups. "No why?" Sarah asked looking after what her friend was, the lights and the sounds were so bright, it was her first time in the city, sure it wasn't New York but it was the capital of England! Everyone down there was doing everything that was possible and truly living life, she wanted some of that. "No reason." Her werewolf bestie answered coldly, not looking back at her, pain etched into her usually composed beautiful face. "Think you can keep up the presence for a bit, we're in London?" "Absolutely. Can we go to Oxford Street, betcha there'll be a vampire in those crowds." She insisted, Alex caught her tone and cracked a small smile back at her, "Sure thing." ---------AN: What do we think of our new character? Any notes to consider for drafts going forward?
