Bahman asked out of curiosity as he heard Alexa's footsteps approaching. "Alexa, probably a dumb question but ever been to Comic Con?""No. What is it?" The vampire hunter come accidental lodger answered as she walked into his home office. She was followed by another girl, she looked younger but probably wasn't, gliding in wearing a white flowing dress. Her skin was pale almost iridescent, and the smile on her rosy lips could light up a room. She had clear blue eyes and a cascade of dark brown almost black hair that almost hit her waist. She had curves everywhere, and he couldn't help but stare but she looked right through him. "Alexa, who's your friend?" He finally managed to croak out. The girl vanished. "Who?" Alexa answered."Ahhiee!" He shrieked through the moment of fear, which quickly turned to pure excitement. "Alexa, have you found another like me?""Bahman, slow down. Why are you screaming at me, is it that bad I don't know what a 'comic con' is?" Alexa cupped his shoulders, forcing him to stare into her emotionless black pits. But the beautiful girl had reappeared, this time staring back at him, a little startled, but she caught his look and very cutely looked away and swept her hair behind her ear. She opened her mouth, the words danced on the air over him, "Alex, I think he can see me now. My name is Sarah.""Nonsense." Alexa let out through gritted teeth, shaking him harder, and he snapped back to looking into her black eyes. "I see Sarah?" He squeaked, Alexa stopped and became completely motionless in her vice grip. Sarah could see this caught his eye again and tilted her head."Alex, I think it's time to let him go?""Yes please." He agreed feeling like an antelope caught in a lioness's claws. She released him and stepped away, sitting herself down behind them to watch like a disapproving hawk mother who didn't under any circumstances want her chicks to attempt to leave the nest before they could fly. The beautiful Sarah brought herself between them, ready to take centre stage. "I'm a ghost, and happy to be able to really say 'Hi' to you Bahman." She reached out a hand then looked at it and screwed up her nose adorably. "She's the ghost of my best friend and has been here all the time, did you die in your sleep or something?" Alexa sounded pissed, at who knows what, he didn't mind there was a girl in his home, Alexa hadn't counted as one for a while. "Stop looking at her like that, she's probably already seen you pee.""Alex! No I didn't look!""Well, I'll leave you two to it." She stormed out of the room, slamming the door after her. "She's just jealous, she's had me all to herself for a while now." Sarah tried to fill him in. "I um, tell me about yourself, I'm interested." She was so very beautiful, blinking kind of oddly, but still smiling. Tristan had given her space, months of it, but he missed her even if Alexa was a silly young thing, she was supposed to be his. He had been struggling to find any more leads on her missing father but all he could ever find were odd things. D from the photo he had been given had never been born, had a nationality, paid taxes, gotten arrested, or ever looked any younger. Then after even more thorough searches through archives and library databases, he had found photos of what looked like but couldn't be the same human man, unless he was a vampire or werewolf like him? Alexa had talked about him so fondly, so faithfully Tristan had hoped if this man was her father, surely he would have told her about being a werewolf himself. Why was the young wolf's life so unnecessarily complicated? And why did he miss her so much? He missed her smile most of all, her laugh, her sparkling eyes, and the way her lips felt beneath his, hell he even missed her haughty temper and saviour complex at times like these. But he had patience, and as an immortal werewolf, and had all the time in the world. Her accidental call had made him chuckle though. He could make her squirm even when they were so far apart.Another one tuned to dust, Alexa thought about the monotony of her existence in the big smoke. There seemed to be endless amounts of vampires, which simply wasn't possible, people would have to die with vampire blood in their systems, and not all bars were serving bloody maryies laced with vampire blood and hemlock, designed to make all their patrons eternal patrons. It just didn't make sense, what does a vampire want? Blood and life force. They had no reasons to procreate that just made more rivals for blood and humans to feed off, what was she missing? Should she call Paul to come and help her, or at least she'd have a vampire's opinion of the whole thing? But when she thought about it he had different goals, and they were as clear as day, Diana and romance. Had she come across a vampire couple in the last few months? She mused did they couple up?She returned to the apartment, jingling her key bemusedly, how could she get inside the mind of these London vampires? She had thought she'd mastered the skill but she must be missing something, they are selfish violent creatures. She was lost in thought until a sight distracted her. The couple were sat next to each other nestled in front go the TV blissfully unaware of her return. She had to admit they looked nice together but, that also meant that Sarah hadn't broken the news that she couldn't touch or anything. Perhaps that's what the ghost wanted, to take pleasure in the small things? No, that was giving them too much credit. She needed sleep, and please no more dreams of Tristan, it was almost full moon and it was messing with her head.
