so as many as you know, my former director, teacher and mentor recently passed away.
today would have been her birthday. I was dreading this day because I thought it was going to be really really hard, and even though it was, I know she was working her magic (even though I did almost see someone throw up) to make sure I had a great day despite the circumstances. I will always miss her and I know most of you may not know me personally or super well, but if you could, listen to this song. It was her favorite and something she lived by.
