ok so I don't know if any of you have read the book Wonder, but if you haven't you need to right now.
I just watched the most touching 20/20 (if you don't know what that is it's kind of like a documentary but not) episode ever.
So if you've read the book (or seen the movie) you know the book is about a boy with a facial disorder names Auggie Pullman.
So since there is a lot of hype about the movie coming out, today's episode was about a real-life boy with a similar facial disorder to what Auggie has. It's called Treacher Collins disease.
The boys name is Nathaniel, and he is 13.
And I just have to say that the episode was so touching and cried so hard. I don't want to give too much away about the book or this episode I just watched but, wow.
I would recommend reading Wonder, as it is a phenomenal book.
But also, if you have access, take a look at this episode because it tells a re-life Story.
The book is a work of realistic fiction whereas the 20/20 episode is literally interviewing the family of Nathaniel and is 100% real.
If you get a chance, please check it out.
